I'm half way to buying the large locker for my 56". My collection of nonsense cordless tools is becoming a problem to hide from the wife. I subscribe to the "out of sight, no nagging" school of husbands.

I need something for those pesky low torque bolts and gun parts. Between 10-50ft lbs generally. Any suggestions for a DIYer that has some money but not enough for tool truck stuff?

M12 is more expensive but you set and forget which is nice when the kids are annoying you. Ryobi for when the kids are old enough to stand there for you.

+1 for the moving blankets. It also insulates your back from the heat or cold.

HF is perfectly willing to break up a pack to get you what you need.

You can't fix some people, but imho on the whole people want that mid tier quality product. Spending the extra $5 is worth it to get better quality. Spending $25 over that, not so much.

America loves a bargains and value. Look at snowblowers. I bet there are 20 Craftsman and other mid tier blowers for every 1 Ariens. And I bet there are 10 Craftsman or other mid tier blowers for every "Power Job No Name Brand" as well. If I can get a much better tool for 10% more then I will...

I have chrome in 1/4 and 3/8. For 1/2 I am just going for impacts. Chrome seems to just be a duplicate and I will pretty much only use it on suspension pieces anyway. I do have a nice Hazet 1/2 ratchet though.

Not sure about your area but here they advertise $14.95 starting with benefits for full time.

They had a 3/8 + 1/4 + 2 regular batteries + extended battery for $179 or so earlier this year. Yeah I jumped all over that deal.
