Prepare to laugh, the Durabuilt Pro Series ultimate mechanics tool set

Ooo story time. I was 17 and wanted to wrench in cars. I had no tools and my dad hated the idea so I was on my own (dad did let me use some of his stuff if I needed it) so I bought a $90 set of Mastergrip tools from Costco. Built 2 cars and a bunch of other stuff. It wasn't pretty and there was...

How does it compare to the Costco LED shop lights?

    HF Side Tool Box

I'm half way to buying the large locker for my 56". My collection of nonsense cordless tools is becoming a problem to hide from the wife. I subscribe to the "out of sight, no nagging" school of husbands.

Snap on will “reclaim” my tool box?!??

Receipt of Stolen Goods is more then likely a crime in your area.

    HF Side Tool Box

I'm waiting for that myself... And for HF to make a power tool drawer.

    Mid range low-torque torque wrench?

I need something for those pesky low torque bolts and gun parts. Between 10-50ft lbs generally. Any suggestions for a DIYer that has some money but not enough for tool truck stuff?

    Cordless Tire Inflator?

M12 is more expensive but you set and forget which is nice when the kids are annoying you. Ryobi for when the kids are old enough to stand there for you.

    Creepers or cardboard???

+1 for the moving blankets. It also insulates your back from the heat or cold.

    Daytona Wheel Dollies

I saw that too. If I remember correctly it was the crappy casters that made the Pittsburgh version garbage.

HF going after pro-tools now with ICON line.

You can't fix some people, but imho on the whole people want that mid tier quality product. Spending the extra $5 is worth it to get better quality. Spending $25 over that, not so much.

HF going after pro-tools now with ICON line.

America loves a bargains and value. Look at snowblowers. I bet there are 20 Craftsman and other mid tier blowers for every 1 Ariens. And I bet there are 10 Craftsman or other mid tier blowers for every "Power Job No Name Brand" as well. If I can get a much better tool for 10% more then I will...

HF going after pro-tools now with ICON line.

I doubt Wusthoff is going to be sold at HF.:thumbup: I'm hoping they offer better tools like that of SK, MAC, etc so they are in reach of the average pro-sumer and it helps to get more people into wrench turning and home repairs. I follow the "HF PASS/FAIL" thread religiously and buy...

Sockets/accessories where no impact/chrome duplicates are necessary

I have chrome in 1/4 and 3/8. For 1/2 I am just going for impacts. Chrome seems to just be a duplicate and I will pretty much only use it on suspension pieces anyway. I do have a nice Hazet 1/2 ratchet though.

HF going after pro-tools now with ICON line.

http://www.iconprotools.com/ Should be an interesting year. I think they are debuting at SEMA and will make a real go at the tool truck guys. HF is also going to offer their own credit card. I'm interested because the ICON torque wrench has been well received, but is it going to be Pitts...
