    M12

As a homeowner the 12v stuff is used most, I fix cabinets and other menial tasks all the time thanks to my 2 tornados of destruction known as children. For any woodworking/framing/etc I don't bother with the 12v and grab my 18v. Another poster put it bluntly when they said 12v is a luxury. I...

    GearWrench Ratchet/Sockets

I have 120xp GW stuff that I started my toolbox with. While I haven't done anything super important with them yet, the small jobs i have pulled them out for have gone smothly. My 3/8 came in a little coarse, I think the selector was stuck in the middle and during shipping it got jostled, but...

    Bulk tool recommendations

The 189 piece set is better. All 6 points, better spread of tools without the fluff pieces, and 90 tooth ratchets iirc.

Husky 56 (23 drawer) vs Tool Vault 56 vs Tool Vault

Husky didnt impress me. I had one ready to be loaded up and ended up back at HF and buying a USG box. I threw 2 sets of impacts in the main drawer and the soft close doesn't work, the middle of the drawer sagged, and the drawers were not smooth.

Lets digital caliper 10mm sockets of different brands

Mmmmm... rusty bolts that are now rounded from 12 point sockets.

    HF vice grips

Limited use on mine but I think they are heads and shoulders above the Husky/Kobalt/Cman lineup so far. Not to say my Husky pliers are garbage, but they are big and clunky compared to the Doyles I picked up.

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

:spit: It's either HF or some random guy in Guatemala with a strip mall surgical center.

    Advance Auto Parts and Gearwrench.

Carlyle does nothing for me. Price is high and quality never seemed to qualify that cost when you have GW which gets good reviews.

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

1/2 in. Drive SAE & Metric Lug Nut Impact Sockets 7 Pc 69781 FAIL. Couldn't hold the walls stiff on my Milwaukee 450ftlb ugguh ugguh machine and spun, subsequently got stuck. Doyle products, specifically the needle nose and side cutter. PASS I put them two steps above my Husky stuff. Much more...

Teng and Kobalt set in trays.

Just some advice: I was going to do foam but the HF socket organizers and some free magnetic bars made organization a lot more compact. Even a cheapy $12 amazon pliers organizer was a big space saver because the tools store vertically instead of horizontally. Unless you have a lot of space...

Indians used stones like that to straighten arrows. Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not though.

I picked up that gearwrench sale. I used to borrow dad's SK set, I don't need to do that anymore.

    Making $35,000 Bonsai Scissors

The locks and barrels are better plus the 10k shotgun will typically come with a variety of barrels each having the same swing weight so the shooter does not need to readjust if they are shooting 12, 20, or 410. The stock's will be an English or French walnut and hand etched in some cases. Guy...

Best metric ratcheting wrench set under $75?

I got a 24 piece Gear Wrench set for $50. So far so good. I have done a few repairs and fixes without incident. If I had a gripe it would be that the ratcheting heads are on the thicker side.

    New Gearwrench Mobile Work Station.

I can get two of my 52" HF boxes and have money left over vs buying that since 28" . Doo companies look at price points and competition?
