Is there a great cfm 60 gallon compressor ?

Here is another great 60 gallon unit, pricing just isn't as good as the BelAire or CP http://www.compressorpros.com/air-compressor/two-stage/80-gallon/c-aire-a050v060-1230/

    Sizing an Air Compressor

Tank size is definitely something that comes up. Many people think...bigger tank...more air. Manufacturers tend to build compressors with a tank that generally fits the layout. You need a certain size baseplate to hold the pump and motor, which is why you generally see smaller single stage...

    Sizing an Air Compressor

This might be useful for those looking to buy or upgrade their air compressor. It can be a challenge when shopping for air compressors to get one that is going to meet your needs. First, you will need to determine if you need portable or stationary, then your available power source...do you...

Is there a great cfm 60 gallon compressor ?

There are a few small two stage 60 gallon units that produce 15 CFM. BelAire and Chicago Pneumatic have the same unit, just different color and decals. BelAire 216V Chicago Pneumatic RCP-561VNS Definitely two of the bigger sellers for us. They both have a 2 year warranty that covers the...

Question about air compessors and what drives CFM

There was a ruling a few years back that made compressor manufacturers advertise actual or "running" HP instead of the fake "Peak" HP. Your 6HP is most likely a 3 or 3.5HP unit. Always look at CFM instead of HP when choosing a compressor. For the max psi, most single stage (pistons the same...

    120 gallon compressor pully questions

You would want to check with the air compressor manufacturer to see if they will recommend a target RPM for the pump turning at 7.5HP. Unfortunately, not all 10HP pumps can be turned by a 7.5HP single phase motor and you could have high amp problems. The basic formula to figure out what pulley...

air compressor opinions , what is a decent one?

To run a 3/4" impact, you'll want to take a look at a true 5HP (Around 18 CFM). Most are automatically going to be 80 gallon tanks. IR definitely has brand recognition, but their warranty isn't that great...only covers valves for 1 year.

    Air compressor questions

Being limited to 115 volt definitely keeps you on the low end of CFM delivery. We have had good luck with this unit, which can be hooked up 115/230 Volt and makes 7 CFM @ 100 psi. http://www.compressorpros.com/air-compressor/60-gallon/single-stage/belaire-2061v/

Although I only sell new compressors, I come across some deals from manufacturers from time to time. Do you know how much air you are looking for (CFM)?

Need help picking out air compressor

C-Aire is out of MN and is really just now breaking out of the Midwest market. They make high quality compressors and are great to deal with. They stock the single phase 7.5HP and can ship next day on most. Just sold a 7.5HP unit to a sign company and they love it. EMAX makes great stuff too...

    Opinion on Screw Compressor

You can get up to 7.5HP in single phase with either the CP unit or IR. EMAX does make a 10HP single phase. If you have a specific model CP or EMAX model you are looking for, I'm sure I can give you a better deal than Northern. The CP would ship from NC regardless of who you bought it from. Send...

    Opinion on Screw Compressor

I'm partial to the CP QRS rotary compressors because I sell them, but I can say they do make good machines. They are Italian made, not from China, which seems to be the trend and stocked in Charlotte, NC. CP's tech support team is top notch also. Be glad to answer any questions you might have.

Need help picking out air compressor

Take a look at C-Aire. They have low RPM 7.5 HP units that produce 24 CFM @ 175 psi. It's a 10HP pump turning slower. Check out model A075V080-1230 or A075V080-1230FP. There is even a video review of the FP (fully packaged) unit on YouTube.

Thanks guys. I'm limited some by the template I use and had to add the promotions under the category header or they won't show up on a mobile device. I didn't like doing that, but also didn't want to have people totally miss those deals. I think everyone agrees that the banner with the...

Harbor Freight 5HP Two Stage 60 Gallon Compressor

Those are good machines. Atlas Copco builds them in Rock Hill, SC as mentioned above. Harbor Freight definitely has not bought the compressor division, but they did change over to Central Pneumatic branding.
