    Compressor Opinions

If you are looking at small 2 stage air compressors, these might be worth it to look at. They are good compressors for 60 gallon units and carry a two year warranty that covers everything on the machine. http://www.compressorpros.com/air-compressor/two-stage/60-gallon/belaire-216v/...

Air Compressor, dual Stage, 60 gallon

I can say that we sell a lot of the BelAire 216V and the Chicago Pneumatic version, RCP-561VNS. They offer the best warranty, which is 2 years on the whole machine. C-Aire also makes a quality small two stage. Looks like our pricing might be a little better than what you were looking at. Here...

Is this a good buy on an air compressor and tools?

I'm definitely not a fan of oil less air compressors...way too loud and won't last if used hard

Looking for an air compressor, 120vac

You won't get much more than 5-7 CFM on 115 Volt, but if you are doing small tasks, you should be fine. The most air I have seen on at 115V is the BelAire 5020P or 5026VP and Chicago Pneumatic RCP-220P or RCP-226VP. The BelAire and CP are identical outside of branding...

    Multiple air compressors

If you are limited to 115 volts, then maybe two portable air compressors makes sense to get a little more air. If you can hook up to 230Volt, then you can get something more substantial that should last. BelAire makes a unique 2HP 60gallon air compressor that can either be 115 or 230 Volt. It...

Air Compressor Problems in Freezing Temps

As it starts to get cold around the country, your air compressor, if exposed to temps around freezing or below can start having some problems. If there is moisture in the unloader or unloader line, it may struggle to start and cause enough extra amp draw to blow the breaker. The oil in the...

I looked at this compressor today!

If it works, that is a crazy good deal. Duplexes are many times a better option than a bigger single pump unit. When the air demand is lower, it is possible that only one pump and motor will run, which could save energy. The other will kick on when the air demand picks up.

I need a new Air Compressor

If you are grinding or sanding, you need 10-12 CFM...one of our big sellers is the BelAire 216V http://www.compressorpros.com/air-compressor/two-stage/60-gallon/belaire-216v/

finding a quiet air compressor for the garage

finding a quiet air compressor for the garage

Finding a slow turning cast iron air compressor might work, but the quietest ones are big 7.5HP units that use a 10HP pump turning really slow. Here are a few that probably register in the mid 70's for dBA...

    Cornwell/Atlas Copco Garage Compressor

I think the Cornwell price is probably more of a suggested selling price, however, with Cornwell, Mac Tools and Snap On, they buy the compressors from the manufacturer, then mark it up to sell to the salesman, and then he has to make some money too, so their pricing tends to be a bit high.

    Quiet Air Compressor

I get asked a lot about noise levels for the air compressors we sell. Sometimes we have a quick and easy answer, and sometimes we have go with approximates. Maybe some may find this helpful. The problem is that manufacturers typically do not publish dBA levels on anything they are not trying...

Good compressor for my home garage?

That's a little tough since it will really depend on the size of the nozzle opening. At the very least, you might take a look at the 418V. It is a slow turning cast iron pump and puts out 18 CFM. If you want something that is a good bit bigger and really quiet (I got to hear it run and was...

Good compressor for my home garage?

I guess it depends on what you are actually doing. You can find a 5HP that makes 14-15 CFM or one that makes 17-18 CFM. If you are using mostly impacts, you may even get by with a single stage. If you are sanding or painting, you probably want to step up. Be glad to work with you on pricing...

Is there a great cfm 60 gallon compressor ?

PoorOwner...you are correct. They are exactly the same. They come from the same facility in SC and simply a dual branding. BelAire is really big in the automotive market and Chicago Pneumatic has more recognition from people familiar with their Tools. If you want more info on either or are...
