    Epstein’s Day 2023

Ok, who's going to buy the **** meter? I don't know how it works, but those leads look uncomfortable.

    spare tire winch socket

There's this kit that I came across at one point: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FABVHWY/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I don't think it's terribly universal, since my Toyota takes an 11mm square, and there's not pentagonal drive that others have already mentioned. Edit: looks like Badger 13 posted the...

Looking for battery powered demolition saw

It says 1" arbor, so the blade you mentioned earlier should work, unless that was only a 9". Or maybe something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0012YH4PC/?tag=atomicindus08-20. What are you doing with this?

Garden hose quick disconnects that don't ****.

I like the Dramm stuff I have too, and they've also had good support (sent me some o-rings for free when mine cracked). For shutoffs, I have a couple from Lee Valley (https://www.leevalley.com/en-us/shop/garden/water-and-irrigation/hoses-and-accessories/44680-straight-shut-off-valve?item=AL220)...

FindBuyTool Helical Cutterhead for DeWalt Planer

From what I've seen on similar heads, there's no adjustment. Each insert is fully located so all you have to (or can) do is remove and rotate them. Granted, if there's something screwy with the machining you don't have any adjustment ability, but as long as your head isn't defective it should...

Can anyone identify this logo for a Durham style parts cabinet/drawer system?

If you have a Zoro account, put them in your cart and don't buy it for a day. Often they'll send you a decent coupon to try to get you to complete the purchase.

Can anyone identify this logo for a Durham style parts cabinet/drawer system?

Might be the difference of the drawer base vs. the lid. I just threw a tape measure on one of the small Durham boxes I have, and it's about 13-9/16" across the lid but only 13-1/4" across the bottom. I don't have one of the drawer slide units, but it looks like the lid sits higher than the...

Looking at the Norseman drill sets

You should probably get a set of screw machine bits too. And maybe a set of aircraft bits for when you need a lot of extra length.

    Epstein’s Day 2023

This might be a good chance for me to replace all the broken/missing bits from my "around the house" sets. I have one nice set cobalt drills in a full index that I replace with good bits when I break them, but my general purpose sets are a mess.

What is the point in 12 point sockets?

All true, but I've done it where I didn't have an 8-pt socket of the right size, and couldn't get a wrench on there. So you "can" do it, but I wouldn't say you "should" do it.

What is the point in 12 point sockets?

You can use a 12pt on a square nut or plug, too.

Removing drawer from Beta roll cabinet

Can you post a picture of the slides for the drawer you want to remove? Often there's a little lever you can pull to let you separate the slide.

    Astro Pneumatic Tool Company

Just curious; when you test swivels, do you test over a range of angles, or is the standard to just test with everything in-line?

Now I feel like an idiot. I cut some of mine down just like Gebirgekind, but also have plenty of miscellaneous sockets rolling around...

    Favourite work boots?

What size do you wear? I wear usually wear a 15A or B in shoes and most of my boots are Danner in D width. Their 650 last is pretty narrow compared to most brands. I have the alloy toe Quarry, and it's on the 610 last which isn't as narrow, but the lace-to-toe pattern helps and in combination...

    Rhino USA Tie Downs

For another made in USA option I didn't catch being mentioned, I recently got some PowerTye straps (these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CJ1ZD38/?tag=atomicindus08-20). So far they've just been used to hold down a dog crate in the back of my SUV so I can't claim to have really tested...

    Help With Square Nut Size

What are you doing with these square nuts? If it's not something you need a ton of torque to break loose, an adjustable wrench would make sense (you can get a crappy 15" adjustable for $10 or a good one for $50). A big pair of channellocks or even a pipe wrench would do as well in some cases...
