    Best small Torx drivers

I use mostly Wiha for precision drivers, but I've used a T1 to T4 set by Moody (https://www.grainger.com/product/6LEU5) and it's actually pretty nice.

    Craftsman/Facom Tools

I've seen the 440 combination wrenches listed as COO France, various other wrenches as Italy or Taiwan, the socket-style wrenches are made in Czech Republic.

    Tools of Japan

Those are some deeeep sockets. Perfect for if there's a bolt on the other side of the room and you don't feel like walking over there.

Hey, you can't do that, it says on the other side of the handle "not a prybar"! Maybe if you file that off it'll work.

    T Handle or Screwdriver Torx?

I like the screwdriver style. If you have the space for a T-handle you've probably got the space for a ratchet since you said you've already got the sockets.

3/8 cordless drill with chuck key?

The only cordless drills with keyed chucks that come to mind are the mud mixers and joist drills, eg: https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/Power-Tools/Specialty-Tools/Mixers/2810-22 https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/Power-Tools/Drilling/Right-Angle-Drills/2707-22...

The death of the double open end wrench

a 10mmX11mm DOE wrench can handle a lot of random **** around the house (like office furniture) since a lot of that tends to be either M6 (with a 10mm hex) or 1/4-20 (with a 7/16 head, which the 11mm will fit).

    "hog ring" style impact extensions

Is there anybody making impact extensions with a "hog ring" style detent instead of the typical ball detent, other than Snap-on? I thought these looked interesting since it can be a little fiddly getting the detent hole on the socket lined up with the ball, but at $36 for a 3-inch extension...

    Tools from the old world

I've got the flex-head (not the roto, the one underneath) with a knurled steel handle from Proto, which I assume is the same thing as the Facom, part J5257F.

I associate Martin tools with automotive body tools as well as service wrenches. I'm sure they make a ton of stuff, but that's what I usually see their name on. I don't know if they make those hex bit sockets in house or if they source them, but I've never heard bad things about their tools so...

    Budget dial caliper suggestions?

These are good suggestions. I have a 6" Fowler that works fine for what I need it for. I think the one I have is like $40 on zoro.com. I do have a cheap import digital caliper as well, which I never use because the batteries are always dead. The Mitutoyo digimatic I have at work needs new...

Does anyone know what this tool is?

It's definitely a beam clamp. Yeah it's small, but think hanging light fixtures, not HVAC units :). Example on McMaster: https://www.mcmaster.com/29915T81/

    adjustable wrench

I like the old non-WF Protos and the Irega-made Channellocks. I also have a Stanley that locks like a vise-grip which is sometimes handy.

rebuild/repair/troubleshoot on "double pump" floor jack?

I'm sure there are more threads, but I couldn't locate them when I searched before posting. Hopefully this is useful if somebody in the future stumbles across this post looking for answers... I pulled the pump assembly and got it on the bench, and yeah, the piston was seized in there. I was...

rebuild/repair/troubleshoot on "double pump" floor jack?

I have an import 3-ton "double pump" floor jack that quit working on me today. The one I have is this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B4LS2BV/?tag=atomicindus08-20, but it looks like there's a bunch of these out there with different brand names probably all coming out of the same factory...

    McMaster-Carr for Small Drill Bits?

I think the last few times I've ordered drill bits from McMaster they've been Chicago-Latrobe, PTD, or Cle-line.

any knife experts here that can tell me what these are?

I've seen those sold as "frozen food" knives as well. From a google image search, your particular one looks like it could have been a brand called "Quikut".

Hey those look nice, I'd assume Wilde built? I like that the size in 32nds is indicated by the number of knurling stripes.

Nice! what's the part number on that? I don't think I've ever seen anything like that looking new, only beat to **** in the corner of a factory floor after decades of abuse!
