Weatherhead for Rigid with conductors already in it

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a weatherhead that can be attached to two inch rigid that has conductors in it already. Does such a thing exist?

    Tekton

I've had them to forget to send out a tool pre Covid. They've got good customer service, but it's far from perfect.

What electrician tools should I get ?

No apprentice, let alone someone who hasn't even started an apprenticeship, should be working in live panels.

Ratchet Issues: brand new Proto and SK 1/4 drive

I think that may be the issue. I know that people have had issues with 1/4" Snap Ons and Gearwrench. I've personally had issues with a 1/4" Armstrong 88 tooth and a Craftsman 60 tooth. I think it may just have to do with such small parts.

What electrician tools should I get ?

I'd just contact the organization you plan to do your apprenticeship through and ask for a tool list if they have one. If it's union there will very likely be a tool list. If it's nonunion they may not. Go from there. Work on getting everything on that list. Klein is well regarded in the...

Just picked up a set, but I already love them.

How useful is a flex head ratchet?

That 24" 1/2" Gearwrench ratchet is probably my best tool purchase of 2019.

    Is gearwrench a good brand?

100% where I stand with the SK sets. They're so close to being a great option, but they just can't seem to listen to the people who have been saying this. You're absolutely right about reviews like these not taking into account how the tool will be used being a problem. However, I think part...

    Looking for a Tool Cart

I agree with this. This would help alleviate the prybar storage if using a standard 26" roller chest. https://sunextools.com/products/large-locking-screwdriverpry-bar-holder-for-service-cart-red/

    wrenches no one makes.

I'd love to see wrenches that have flex zero degree offset boxends on one side and a flex ratcheting zero degree offset (similar to the Mountain wrenches) on the other. Standard and long pattern.

    Astro Pneumatic Tool Company

Just to clarify. Does this mean if you buy one of the items you get the other or does this mean that if you buy an item you get another of the same item?

“Buy one tool a month”..........Origin of this?

At no point were you asked for a citation to prove that many people in this trade are lazy. Save the strawman arguments. You were asked for a citation that showed that people as a whole are lazy. When you couldn't do that you changed your position to most people. You were then asked for a...

“Buy one tool a month”..........Origin of this?

I said I lived outside the Rocky Mountains for two decades not that I lived outside the Rocky Mountains two decades ago. For someone who derides an entire species for being lazy and not researching you seem to do it a lot yourself. You won't take the time to read my comment until you actually...

“Buy one tool a month”..........Origin of this?

That wasn't my experience in the two decades I lived outside of the Rocky Mountains. Have you considered that maybe you just surround yourself with unskilled, lazy people and that's skewed your point of view?

“Buy one tool a month”..........Origin of this?

No, I haven't seen any evidence that everyone these days is lazy.

“Buy one tool a month”..........Origin of this?

I was taught to put one hours worth of pay a week towards tools. It didn't necessarily mean buy a new tool weekly or even monthly. It just meant have that money set aside so that you can buy a tool you need when you need it or can buy a more niche tool that helps with your work. You may not be...

Bad luck with Harbor Freight flex heads

They all have the potential for a broken pin, but some are definitely stronger than the others. Matco and Snap on both make good flex heads and can sometimes be found for cheap on the used marker with a little gumption and luck. The Gearwrench flex heads are great too and aren't expensive...
