A good idea for late models.....but problematic in the fact that they're non-adjustable like the previous posters mentioned.

Buying from Cat is VERY pricey. I paid $52 for a 15/16 re-badged Williams combo last year to complete a set.

I'm reviving this thread. Just picked up a Double Duty today for FREE....but unfortunately the gear is missing two teeth and the others are worn. I see that the Urrea repair kit is somewhat different and relatively expensive. I may try to get the Proto parts to make a conventional ratchet....

Many of those cheap Chinese "vices" have a coat of filler on them. We sold one by the name of "Wisdom" when I worked at the farm store not long ago. There was also one at my buddy's workshop that was falling apart. I can only assume that the filler was there because they thought it would look...

I currently have 2 sets. The first is a Proto 3/8" that I bought new...wouldn't rotate when hit and Proto replaced it free of charge through the mail...still don't like the action very much. My Snap-on 3/8" was sourced used...got a generic socket and bits separately. I use it professionally to...
