    VCT for workbench

I'm not sure what the color was, just picked it up at the local hardware store. It is a nice bright blue. I cut the tiles 5 7/8" using the table saw (cut best upside down) Bit of sealer and done - cheap, fast and looks nice.

    VCT for workbench

I put VCT in my garage and had some left over. I used it for the top of my workbench -- really like the way it turned out, much better than the MDF. I am going to trim it up with some steel trim later today.

    OSB walls

Hey Brad: My garage is 30x40 with 10' high ceilings. My heater is about 20 ft long (model HL20 100 p2) http://www.brantradiant.com They are a local company and I just called them up and asked what to order (I had to order the heater from a contractor) It works great, I keep the garage at...

    OSB walls

I don't really have a build thread, we built the garage a couple of years ago - 40 x 30. A couple of nice ideas - propane tube heater (works great) plywood walls (I haven't decided if I want to paint them) and steel ceiling (white siding finished on the underside so it is more flat) Loft...

    OSB walls

To save on material you could put a 24" piece on the bottom and then make a 6" baseboard to cover? We did something similar to that on my garage and it looked great. In my case we used plywood on the walls and made a 24" baseboard with plywood - the ceiling height is just under 10' and this...

    VCT with epoxy clear coat

I just put VCT in my single garage and epoxy in my 3 car detached garage. The VCT looks fantastic, I have sealed it and I can see that is will require some maintenance. I am very interested in the idea of putting a more permanent coating -- ???

    Floor is done

I have been lurking here for quite a while, reading most peoples experiences and just finished putting in two floors. My detached garage is 30;x40' and we put epoxy on it with a fine grit (I live in Ontario and the floor gets wet all winter) It looks great !!! The other garage (attached to...

    pics of vct tiles

Yes, the pattern is just 4 black, 4 white making 2 ft squares -- the white was supposed to be gray but they ordered the wrong color by mistake. I was in a hurry so I just let it go. It will be sealed today. The floor was chipped up quite a bit and salt damaged but looks like new now !!

A liquid sealer from HD -- armstrong or zep, you mop it on and let it dry.

    Sealing VCT

Hi Guys: I have just finished a VCT tile floor in my garage. It is time to seal it now. What did you guys use to clean and seal the floor with? I have been doing some reading and searching this forum, do you really need to use a string mop to apply the sealer or will a lamb's wool pad work...

    What about Mat Flooring?

I live in Ontario, Canad and have G Mats in my garage, two from Sam's with ribs and one diamond from Costco -- they look like new after two winters but I do sweep them regularly and wash them on occasion. I don't think they look as nice as a new epoxy floor but they work well. The rib...
