I've found that it's a very good saw for trimming agave plants.

    Best solder for automotive wiring?

RadioShack solder was pretty good. The majority of Amazon solders seem to leave a dull finish and as such I only buy Kester branded solder now.

    Shelf Life of a Compressor

I can vouch for that brand as I have their corded version. For the little times that I end up using it, I figured that the battery in the cordless version would go bad.

Should I leave the drain valve on an air compressor open when not in use?

I always drain it after using it and leave it open. I haven't had an issue yet and I've had it for 16 years.

Anyone ever see a toolbox collapse from too much weight?

My US General 5 drawer cart has bent at the caster mounting points and is starting to tear in that area. It's very overloaded so that's my fault. I think it would have done better had it spring loaded casters.

    Really liking Icon sockets

I've only had experience with their weatherhead sockets and their impact sockets. Their impact stuff is way better than Tekton, Icon, Pittsburgh or even SK. I own all of them and the only one that hasn't deformed at the drive end was Sunex.

Cleaning cordless tools and comfort grips

Probably depends on the brand. It works a lot better than Brake Kleen or nasty smelling WD-40.

Ego has something similar, but don't expect the convenience or price range of a gas generator. https://egopowerplus.com/nexus-power-station

Silicone spray and a rag wipes off the grime instantly.

    Insulated Socket Set

Don't forget that a welded contactor could cause the whole HV system to be live all the time. Never assume there is no voltage present.
