OBD2 Scanner, Need help picking out a good all around option.

I know you said no to phone OBD2, but the Autel AP200 has one of the best apps on the phone. Very easy to use unlike Torque pro and it has lots of extra functions. Comes with advanced features for 1 make of car. The rest are $20 each a year.

SK customer service is no good

I've warrantied 3 items so far this year and they've responded by email on the same or next day. I haven't had to provide a receipt yet too. Try giving them a call instead.

    Breaker Bars? What's worth it?

I have been disappointed with the 30" SK 1/2 drive breaker bar. I've used it 5 times on bolts torqued to 260ft/lbs and it now has a permanent bend in the middle. It also flexes bad like a U-shape. The 24" Icon breaker bar has surprisingly held up better with little to no flex.

    Center Japan Ratchets

Does anyone have any information on these? I bought these and love them, but I can't find anything about this company. I've seen wobble extensions from them as well.

Anyone here have experience with 3M EEP-100 Electronic ear plugs?

I have them and they are great. You can hear people talk and they automatically block out loud sounds. The battery lasts longer than 8 hours for me at full volume and I replaced the included earplugs with the Peltor Skull Screws which to me fit better and comfortably and come with a slightly...

    Radiator Hose Picks

I use those at work and they are great for all of the big silicone hoses that we use. I've even used them for prying off the hoses and they are tough. They don't seem to scratch the pipe as well and have no chance to puncture the hose.

Thinking about purchasing Gearwrench 90T Locking Flex?

Their 24" flex head ratchet has a very thin handle and flexes a lot even at low torque. The Matco one is better.

Thoughts on Capri 1/4” drive flex head ratchet?

Just bought one and it arrived yesterday. Chrome is good and the flex is about the same as my SK ratchet. Backdrag is pretty high though. It might go away after some use. Overall, not bad for $20.

Their bits are garbage. I warrantied the same bit 4 times until I was frustrated and just bought Bondhus.

    Rehashing jack stands

Get the US Jack ones. I bought a pair to replace my HF ones and they're great. Hein-Warner only makes the ratcheting bar portion in the US, and the rest is made in good old China!

Tool kit for a semi-truck and trailer.

Most things on a bus are SAE. The only things that are metric are the MAN axles and the Cummins engine. I'm sure that a semi truck will be mostly the same.

Mcmastercarr has snap on ratchets. I bought a 3/8 drive flex ratchet. Only issue is that they don't tell you the brands.

    Gray Tools?

I emailed them to replace a horribly off center 15mm socket and they never replied back. I've heard that their warranty is hit or miss as well.
