One or more of the cells inside is probably out of balance and will cause the charger to not fully charge the pack. You would need to open the pack up and either manually charge the cell(s) or discharge them individually to bring them all to the same voltage.

If you want to test the LED disassemble the pack and set your multimeter to diode function. It should light up dimly when probed correctly on the LED diode.

I wouldn't worry about breaking the X-frame wrenches. I use my 3/4" with a torque adapter and a 1/2 drive breaker bar to loosen motor mount bolts and it hasn't failed yet.

Bondhus would be my choice.

In my case, I had to purchase a 10mm that disappeared for a month old set.

Also, my one month old ICON universal was no match for it!

Update on the Thor impact: I sent it in and they repaired it. It's now working great and able to remove lug nuts torqued to 500 ft/lbs with ease.

If you're on a budget, the Husky cordless seems to be a fair price.

Love the satin finish. Not as easy to clean off, but they have better grip when oily. Plus they wear better than shiny chrome.

Just bought the Matco 30" 1/2 drive locking flex head ratchet to replace my 24" Gearwrench. Nothing against the Gearwrench but the handle flexes when loosening bolts. Doesn't seem to be a problem on it though since it always returns back into shape. I'll keep it for home use.

Voltage sag on each cell is lower as more cells are added therefore giving you a slight "increase" in power.

Well folks, looks like I'm probably sending it in for warranty. It struggled to remove nuts torqued to 230 ft/lbs while the beat up shop IR took them off like nothing. Hopefully Astro fixes it.

I bought their flush cutters a while back and was very disappointed. It stopped springing back and the blades were horribly misaligned. Only used them on plastic zip ties too.

Sadly, I only have access to 125-135 PSI. I noticed that the trigger is covered in oil after just a couple of uses as if the air is leaking out of it. Has anyone else experienced this on theirs?

Just tested out the Astro Thor on 33mm lug nuts and was slightly disappointed. While it did take them off, it took a while compared to my Milwaukee 2767-20. It is shorter than the Milwaukee so I'll be keeping it for use on other jobs. I'm using the same 1/2 to 3/4 drive adapter and socket on...

I have the exact same one in my toolbox at home. Surprisingly good for a Chinese ratchet.
