ID and Value ?? Walker Jack

I have a chance to get this jack for asking price of $150. Can anyone estimate its age and value? It's desribed as being in good working condition. I do not have any details yet but plan to go look at it tomorrow. Are Walker parts still available. What should I look for as far as condition...

    Sun Service Equipment Cart

I have a chance to buy this. I was thinking it was an earlier style with the cool Sun Diagnostics logo, but it looks newer. Think this is worth $50? Shows a little wear and is missing one of the handrails along the left side. I haven't seen in it person yet. Still kind of cool.

    Hose Reel - 25' or 50' Hose?

I'm planning on a ceiling mount hose reel. Garage is 30X40. I had been thinking about a 50' hose so I would have more than enough hose to cover the entire garage. Reel will be mounted in the center of the garage. My concern is running air tools. The majority of my mechanical work is done...

I'm finalizing my air line set up and looking for a short section of hose (18-36 inch) to connect the compressor to the start of the copper line. I'm looking at these from the McMaster Carr catalog: http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/117/226/=dxhzyk Air Hose Impact Absorbers Neoprene 1/2" ID...

    Thoughts on Air Line Setup

Can I get some feedback on this layout? Sorry for the crude drawing. I'm running copper lines. No need to bring up pvc ;) Filter system is about 40' from the compressor. I'm only putting in two drops, one for the blasting cabinet and one for the air hose reel. I want to put the moisture...

New C/L Score - Metal Cabinet

Check out my new glass-door hospital cabinet. Got it on C/L awhile back and just hung it up this weekend. It's incredibly well built. US-made I'm sure, but no info on by whom or how long ago. I'd guess 60-70s.

Looking for Odd Electrical Connector (Auto)

I need several of these for a restoration. Anyone know where I can find something like this? I don't even know what to call it. It's on a ground wire for a windsheild washer pump (Mopar). Thanks

Compressed Air 1/4" or 3/8" Hose Reel Line?

What size line do you guys run for hobby use? I'm looking at Reelcraft hose reels with a 35' length hose. I don't have any air tools yet. I have a 6hp, 60 gallon single stage compressor. Hose reel will be ceiling mounted in the center of a 30X40 shop. Thanks!

    Butcherblock Workbench Surface Source?

I want to add a new workbench top for a cabinet/chest I just bought. I've been looking at Maple butcher block tops online. Has anyone ever done this? Where should I look for a local source? I'd like to avoid shippiing. Size I want is 48 x 25, 1 3/4" thick. Thanks

Yet Another Air Compressor Line Question

I've been looking many of the posts on this topic. Has anyone ever used/evaluated the "Rapid Air" flexible nylon tubing system? http://www.rapidairproducts.com/index.asp I'm guessing the line moisture issue would be the main issue? I have a 60 gallon, single-stage, 6hp compressor. I'll be...

New "Car Barn" - The Latest Geobarn

Here's a familar theme... "I've been lurking here for a couple of years..." Last summer "Bull" from this board posted some pics of his new garage that was built by a guy out of VT (see "My Geobarn" thread). I was so impressed with Bull's garage that I decided to build one of my own. So...
