Those are some gorgeous cars. And I love the V8 logo turned on its side. I haven't seen that; or is that just my ignorance?

Why would I kid? Well, okay, maybe for a very small entertainment value. But far more importantly IMO, is for the rights of all. What's wrong with wanting something purchased new to be delivered as new? And what would be wrong with wanting to collect them instead of stamps, for example...

Methinks the gentleman doth protest too much. Perhaps it's a desire deep-seated? Or, with a username like that is it just a bit of overcompensatory behavior for a minor virile member?

I personally disagree. There is no reason that tools, especially chrome pieces, can't be tools AND jewelry. So you'd have to decide if it matters. If they're gonna slide across a concrete floor anyway, who cares? If you do care, then you probably have to go to a store and look through them...

I would guess that one 18 and operator would be less expensive than two 10's and two operators. But the 10's would almost certainly look better from the outside if that matters. I only have a 9 foot door and have little problem angling a full size SUV into the middle for working around it.

What a great project; I hope you'll post some pics of it out on the road; maybe one in the exact same spot as your "How I purchased it" photo. I also like and appreciate your organization with the bagging and boxing assemblies and sub-assembly parts.

I think you missed my point, which originally quoted a couple of other guys that basically said "to each their own". A few more replies since then have voiced similar sentiment. So I was trying to agree with that viewpoint by asking the member from Idaho to explain what he meant, and why. Now...

That is a good question that I've wondered about as well. I can see having maybe two of several things for convenience, but after that it seems like a person would either want to have more different tools or more money to put into whatever you like to use your tools on.

I tried for borderline artistic; it's a collection. It, and some other drawers are lined with blue felt. Well of course it's a way of looking at it. Why not?
