What is the point in 12 point sockets?

Forums need fresh content and users to thrive. Had OP posted on an old thread, I bet someone would say "Stop Necroposting" So it seems like a "damned if you do and damned if you don't" type of thing. Toxicity and elitism aren't good either.

What is the point in 12 point sockets?

They are designed to round off rusty nuts and bolts. That way you can justify buying more tools, without having to deal with the rants of a controlling wife. They are a life saver.

Project Farm Ratchet Test 2, Electric Bugaloo

The thicker handles on some of those ratchets, prevents them from working as advertised, they bump against the wooden stops a few degrees earlier than the ones with thinner handles. (But then the Koken with quite a thick handle, proves my hypothesis wrong). How curious.

Super Low Profile 3/8” Ratchet Options

Is it really that mortifying to have to adjust the selector every once in a while? It's not like it requires a complex maneuver, plus you usually check before applying the tool to the fastener. 😂 No beef, I just find it curious that so many people write similar comments about non Snap-On...

Is anyone here familiar with concrete basements with concrete ceilings and concrete floors above them?

Hire some Puerto Ricans or Dominicans (almost anyone from the Caribbean actually), they build their houses out of reinforced concrete, or sometimes CMU blocks. Almost always concrete ceilings. Hurricanes ****. If possible, use basalt rebar, to avoid concrete cancer.

Pentalobe Drive: Sizes Not Standardized Across Brands!

The only thing I can say, is that Apple used wera torque screwdrivers in their kits. I only say this because I was checking the information on apple's website a few years ago, and saw the images. Found this link for the PB Swiss https://pb-direct.eu/detail.asp?Lang=3&Prod=127573 Description...
