Does anyone make striking socket extensions?

sometimes I like to hammer down on a corroded bolt to shock things loose. I keep some cheap socket extensions that I use for hammering on, since I don't want to beat up good quality tools (scratch them, chip chrome etc). But does anyone make (or have they ever made) quality extensions designed...

Fein blades on Milwaukee tool - can I buy an adapter?

That's what the blade in my picture is - a windshield blade. I see Dremel do an adapter that will allow you to use Dremel blades on a Milwaukee multi tool. So I guess with a combination of your adapters I could get these windshield baldes to work. Do you have any links to the 3 adapters that...

Fein blades on Milwaukee tool - can I buy an adapter?

I have many Fein supercut blades that were given to me, but I only have a Milwaukee C12MT multi tool. Am I able to get an adapter to use these Fein blades on my Milwaukee? Here is a picture of the Fein blade next to my Milwaukee:

Does anyone make anything like this?

Does anyone make anything like this in 15mm 6 point, with a square drive the other end. I stress I want 6 point and not 12 point. Ideally the longer the better (around 20cm)

What tools for changing your own car tires?

What am I missing then? I may be naive but some youtube videos make it look very easy. This guy says it is the first tire he has ever changed and it is an easier job than changing a bicycle tire. What am I missing?

What tools for changing your own car tires?

Well what about things like rim protectors? I saw one video where they cut up a plastic bin to make some protectors. In the video I posted above they wrapped the tire irons in some bicycle inner tubes.

What tools for changing your own car tires?

I hear what you say, but I was looking forward to the challenge! for me it's not about trying to save money / take the easiest option, but about taking pleasure in doing things myself. If you look at the videos I posted, they make it look quite easy and say it was the first tire they had ever...

What tools for changing your own car tires?

I have never changed my own car tires before and was thinking of giving it a go. In light of this I wondered what tools people find useful for changing tires at home? Should I just buy a good set of tire irons? Also what about breaking the bead at home? This video shows the person using a...

Best tool to remove this spring?

I made a little pick from some old scrap which clamped round the body of the spring. I then put washers in the spring to extend it. Using this method it was really easy to line it up on the vehicle and once lined up I just used another pick to pull the washers out. Thanks for the tips guys, as...

Best tool to remove this spring?

That's a really great tip. I could put a few coins in there and then just fit the spring in place with some medical pliers. This would save having to mess about gripping the spring to tension it in a limited space. It would also remove the tension from delicate surgical pliers, which may not...

Best tool to remove this spring?

I think they are too large for this job. I would have though surgeons / vets must have some nice tools for intricate work?

Best tool to remove this spring?

I need to replace a spring the same as the one in the photo. It's inside a welded door panel, so will need something quite long to reach it. If I can do it in situ, it means I won't have to disassemble / remove all the lock mechanism, and it will save me time. I thought about using a pick...

    Tools from the old world

I picked up these Tang Yugoslavia 14 - 22mm wrenches very cheaply at a garage sale. I guess they would be about 30 years old. The chrome is starting to peel on some, but they seem solidly made tools. As a test I used the 22mm taking apart a seized injector and measured a force of over 300NM...
