There is no way I am doing that. Most of my tools I really cherish, as they were given to me by my father who is long deceased. Yes I could buy something else and grind it down, but if I am buying something anyway, I may as well buy something that will fit.

I am looking for the smallest head open end wrench in 8mm. Most of the open end 8mm Snap-on wrenches have a head width of around 17mm, which is too large for my application. Who makes an 8mm wrench with the smallest head?

I am looking for a 6mm hex bit socket that is at least 100mm long (can be longer) in 1/4" drive. Also I need the 6mm bit to be 6mm along the whole length and not taper out when going into the socket. Does anyone know of anything in 1/4" drive?

Re: looking for very small snap ring pliers where the ends point outwards? When they are fully closed what does gap between the ends measure? Is the gap a similar measurement to that shown in my picture? Also when I say I want the ends pointing outward, I mean like 45 degrees or even 90 degrees.

That's no good as I use mine with Koken nut grip sockets, to hold the fastender in place. I like everything secure, so nothing comes loose and drops in an awkward place!

Does anyone know if you can get locking flexible spinner handles like in the picture below? I think a locking variety would be very useful, as I often use mine in very tight / impossible places that would cause a real problem if the socket were to fall off the end.

Any idea if the handle could be replaced on the Zyklop if it got damaged or to put a different grip on? Not sure how it is bonded on - wonder if boiling it in water would work to remove the grip like with Snap-on ratchets?
