So was just doing the finishing touches on this box I started way back in August. Final paint and trim was complete this past weekend. I learned a lot, got frustrated a lot and still think it worked out to be a fun project. Enjoy! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

    help with first airtool purchase

I congrats on having an awesome tool buying wife.. and remember air compressors are like diamond rings. They are always ready to be upgraded ;) I have an Ingersoll Rand composite case impact that's has been pretty bullet proof for 15 years. A cheap impact will frustrate you.there are lots of...

    Let's see your toolbox.

That's a nice box, dents, dings and dirt show that it was used and helped you make a living. I think your Opie and Anthony WOW sticker is great! The current show not so much.. :( Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

    Harbor Freight Ratchets

I was in Harbor Frieght Saturday and I was drawn to the "pro" line ratchets. They look and feel very substantial and quality. The 1/2 long handle flex head keeps calling my name. Anyone have experience with them? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Thanks! Paint was tough to sand. By tough its a very hard, shiny coat. It look perfectly servicable without any wet sanding /buffing. I could have went to 800 and been safe I think. I played it safe, since I was worried about burning through the edges. I started with 1000 grit then 2000, 2500...

Help with restoring my vintage toolbox!

Bummer, I just finished my boxes using Rustoleum. They look goodish(im no painter) and will serve me well. I added enamel hardener to the paint so I am hoping the long term durability will be helped. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Something to be said for HF...

I went to HF today for disposable paint cups. 5.00 bucks and I can finish my little paint work on my tool box with using 5.00 bucks in acetone to clean the supplied cup for my HLVP gun. It's an oddball thing I needed and I didn't have to wait until next week to get it from the Internet. I have...

Vintage Snap on restorations 1st post!

Well first things first.. I had some old work pants to wear so they are currently stiffening in a pile[emoji16] I did 2 coats 15 minutes apart. The paint I mixed cooked for 1/2 hour while I did a final wipe down and blow out my "paint booth" . Yes the paint tacked up perfectly, and as of...
