    Sawzall Pruning Blade?

TIA I plan to do some tree pruning with my Dewalt 20V Reciprocating Saw, pine and cherry trees. Milwaukee offers a carbide blade 9" for about $10 at Home Depot, HF has a 5 pack of Warrior blades for $9, and Hercules blades 3 for $10. I realize you usually get what you pay for, but the reviews...

    Advance Auto Parts - 2024 Q4 clearance

I've done OK, I ordered and picked up Blaster Rustproofing, in gallons and spray bombs. I also grabbed these: Diehard Scrapers not that I really needed them, but the price was hard to pass on.

Truth be told, I didn't gave that any thought when I bought it. I have the charger and the battery platform, it's a good tool, so why not? As far as a 3 speed selector and variable trigger, that's how they're making them. I guess in the lower speed selections it might have some minor benefits. I...

Do you ALWAYS use jack stands? Help settle the argument.

If I'm working on a car that's on a jack my jackstands are in use. If I'm changing a flat in an emergency, I'll toss a tire under the car for safety, like @rust in the eye does, but in a situation like that I'm not going under the car.

    Snap-On Cynergy Ratchet Update

As it turns out they do list the repair kit "RKRF100" on the site. I used that part for two of my 100 tooth ratchets and it didn't work in either one of them. That is probably being revised and why the * shows [discontinued] when the franchise owners look it up.

    Snap-On Cynergy Ratchet Update

I see that, it's possible they haven't updated the site. My guy told me they have it in the system the dealers use as * which means they are coming out with a new replacement part.

    Snap-On Cynergy Ratchet Update

My guy told me the issue is not only the back-drag, there are also numerous complaints about the freewheeling. That is supposed to be addressed with the next repair kit/revision of the tool. They are no longer showing the part # for the repair kit, which typically means a revision is in the...

Stuck Axle Nut Help, Possible to Snap Stud off CV Axle??

See if you can borrow one, unfortunately some sockets fit better than others. Impact sockets do wear for lack of a better term if used a lot. You can try cutting the nut off too.

Stuck Axle Nut Help, Possible to Snap Stud off CV Axle??

Get a socket that fits properly, and a stronger impact gun. A little bit of heat wouldn't hurt either.
