Well, since this was bumped, I will add. SK has rebuild kits for these. Just send an e-mail with your shipping address and model number and they drop one in the mail. Just fixed a 1/2 a month or two ago.

I really like my Klein 1010 multi purpose tool for the little electrical work that I currently do. I'm hoping to hone my skills a bit more and will be looking into separate tools for stripping and crimping.

I really like Stabila levels. I think they're guaranteed to stay accurate. They make a ton of different sizes, not sure if they have a protective case available for all of them.

Grainger and Fastenal will sell to the general public, but their pricing doesn't cater to them. Their bread and butter is customers with accounts. Their top customers spend enough to get them discounted pricing. That pricing is as good as or better than the average internet price on most things.

Williams makes 1/4 and 3/8 spinners. Not sure how cushioned the grip is, but it looks rubberized at least. Amazon has 'em.

What's the MSRP on the five drawer model? Would love to have one, haven't been able to catch up with the local Mac dealer to discuss options or price. May have to settle for the Proto three drawer version with a flip top.

Dirtywerx, Is your ratchet missing the locking lever, or did you purposely remove it?

I really want to pick some Carlyle up. I have a list of ratchets and sockets from Napa but my tool budget gets spent on stuff I can buy through work while I have a discount.

I've seen the same post on the Maine craigslist. It looks good to me, especially without the over the top badging on some of the Extreme boxes. I don't have room for a box that big, but if I did, I would make a trip to Bow to check one out.

When I was a kid, I wasn't allowed to compete anymore because I won too many years in a row. We had a bandsaw and scroll saw (still have both). We cut on the scroll and then spent a ton of time sanding, and even more time painting.

Look for a Williams or Cat branded top chest and roll cabinet. Both are available in 26" and should be available for close to your budget, possibly above. Both are rebranded versions of KRA? series from Snap-On. I'm not sure where to buy the Williams, but a Cat dealer is the obvious choice for...
