    Lets talk electric angle grinders

I bought one with a slide switch at Fastenal (they matched CPO) and I've really enjoyed using it so far. The slimmer body is so much more comfortable for me than the old style.

    Lets talk electric angle grinders

Metabo has already released them. Available at Fastenal and CPO Metabo, possibly other places too.

    3M Abrasive disc holder 9145

The products he's using are hook and loop type attachment, not the Roloc that you guys are referring to, which is more common on die grinders.

    EPPCO Tool Box Liner

Ryan, Since you've had this stuff for a bit, do you have any updates? I need to line a Husky stack and this stuff looks pretty good to me. Thanks!

    Another angle grinder thread

I bought one of the new Metabo's (W9-115 Quick) a few weeks ago for some rocker panel work. I like it a lot, hoping to add a 6" version some time this summer. I really prefer the slide switch type, but the new paddle design is pretty nice.

    Thread, bolt size gauge

If you'd like another of the plastic ones, I picked one up at Fastenal for around $8. I'm pretty sure they're all made by the same company, and I'm pretty sure all Fastenal branches keep a few on their shelves. Otherwise, I'd like to get one of those Thread Checkers with the male and female...

Current recommend for torque wrench calibration?

I believe that Fastenal does torque wrench calibration as one of their industrial services. No idea on price, but could be worth talking to the manager of your local branch.

    Glorified Nut Setters

I'm pretty sure that Armstrong has what you are looking for, but not 100% positive.

Husky 52 Inch 18 Drawer Tool Box

I ordered the blue/black Husky top box and roll cab recently, based on how the 52" box felt in the store. Should be here some time next week.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure you just committed a felony. Did you really just talk another man out of buying another tool?

    Kobalt Tools -- Worth it?

I've been picking up some of their cheaper socket sets as my wallet allows. They are cheap enough to not worry about being in my portable box, but work just fine.

What to do with old saw blades

I take any that I find, and hang them on the outside of my barn/shop. The focal point in the shop is the Unisaw, so I think it's a fitting theme.

    Let's talk drill bits

Most Fastenal's stock two lines of drills in their stores. One is Norseman, and the other is FMT. FMT is a Chinese version of Norseman but they generally don't hold up as well. I would make sure you're getting the Norseman stuff rather than FMT.

    "Palnut" hex screws? Palnut driver?

    Hate those damn things.

If you're worried about the cost, you can try an Armstrong Maxx to get a feel for the action before you take the plunge on one of the Matco models. I just want a long, non-flex version of the Maxx ratchets. I may have to go with Matco for those.

    No love for Klein?

I have a Klein 4-in-1 (5-in-1?) that I don't think I could live without. One will always have a place in my portable box.

    Does tool karma exist?

Went to put washer fluid in my car yesterday, and my hood struts are junk so I prop it up with my window scraper. When I pulled the scraped I noticed something shiny in front of the fuse box. To my surprise it was a Cornwell JR30, in good shape but well used and very smooth despite being a 30...

Do you tip the snap-on truck guy?

I often do. I can do most of the repairs that pop up on my personal vehicle, but I often don't have the time. I drive 500-1,000 miles a week, and can't afford to have my vehicle sitting in a lot waiting for a mechanic to get to it. In fact, I've had to rent vehicles just to get through the...

Anyone have the M12 Fuel Screwdriver?

What types of tasks do you usually use yours for? Durability? How about its bit holding ability? Had a chance to use a 1/4 socket adapter at all? Thanks for your help!
