Awesome table!! From the looks of the cutout that may have been made for a punch press or notcher of some sort with the table layout to index stops to make repeatable cuts. Maybe from a sign shop? Either way it's an awesome piece.

I don't own a CNC Plasma. I usually hand cut all my parts on my bandsaw but recently started using Cody at So Cal Plasma Craft to do all of the parts on this project. I designed everything in SolidWorks then sent him the files. He definitely knows how to run his machine, which is a Torchmate...

Got the front trans mount welded, bent, and mocked up in the car.

Thanks, I sincerely appreciate that compliment. :beer: I believe Frank is referring to practicing a skill like TIG welding. Being a perishable skill like most others if you don't use it you lose it. I'll be back in about 10 hours...I've gotta go jerk-off in my shop all day.

I have 3 tables/benches in my shop that are all TIG welded as well as my mobile bandsaw base.

I have the adapter from JD2. Look over on offroadfabnet.com and you will find a lot of people who have converted their benders to hydro for less money. Thanks. :beer: Almost 15 years

Thanks. Just a different way of doing it. The chassis originally has tubing in that area but it failed miserably and I wanted to incorporate the trans mounts and some additional bracing. Thanks. That's what they're built for! This one will have a Ford 351, aluminum heads, and a Vortech...

In the process of rebuilding the back-half of a sand car... Built a new sheet metal bulkhead. It's approx 2' tall x 4' wide and 1.75" thick made of 10ga (.141").

What can I say?....she was a little hard to resist. :evil:
