    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I like the fact that Milwaukee is bringing a lot of "Euro" features to the vacuum lineup, but the smaller hoses (and inlets) are really a handicap. I think someone tested the larger hose and noted there a large difference in air volume and perceived suction.

for the new Nexus dual battery its 115 according to Milwaukee. The 125 is for the dust extractor which has dual battery and corded capability. Doubtful the ~8% difference is going to be noticeable.

^Ironically I just realized I was missing inconveniently an 8mm flare out of the tool collection during my 1x di2 retrofit. Have at least 3-4 9mm options for some reason. How does it compare to the park? It looks beefier. I am trying to figure out if the longer length of the park is an asset...

I stand corrected Looks like it is a slight improvement in CFM - 106 for the gen 1 dual battery vs 115 for the gen 2/Nexus vs 125 for the dust extractor. Not sure why they standard spec a 1 7/8 hose when they have a 2.5 inch option. Also the dust extractor has a weird 36mm hose apparently.

Truck bed electric hoist. Anyone use one?

After trying to unload my parents RAM 2500 once and repeatedly going up and down the puny swing out bed step, I was swearing I was going to get them this: Ended up using a rolling lift cart as an intermediate step that day. The one I have doesn't quite have the height to reach the tail gate...

Did the new dual battery Nexus drop in CFM? I swore the v1's were able to **** 130 CFM vs the 120v at 160 CFM+. Was hoping for more CFM out the dual battery.

This - multimeter continuity check Also electronic spray cleaner has worked wonders on various trigger issues I have experienced. Especially on stuff that gets a high degree of dust like a vacuum.

Zephyr Industrial "X" Hardness Phillips Bits

I too run those hard Zephyr ACR bits on the two speed M12 non fuel screwdriver. They'll usually win against the fastener for better or for worse which I think equates to them lasting longer with less deformation. They do work well for what I would call old school phillips vs my variety of...

Glad you are having a good run on your torch hubs. I haven't put many miles on mine, but ironically ended up with them after breaking an axle and dealing with slipping pawls on a bitex hub. Conversely my best ownership experience has been cheap Novatec hubs, with no maintenance done.

Just to double check they/DT have updated the ratchet ring design across the board? Post #160 I posted about dealing with a jammed ring. Not sure if I want that learning experience that again. Edit: I think I am willing to compromise on freehub friction, proprietary bearings, and less fine...

Definitely thinking going forward I need to standardize with DT hubs going forward (seems like they have some ratchet upgrades now that don't totally tank reliability). I hear that other hub manufacturers are starting to use DT hub internals? I'm not sure if they mean similar or they actually...

@YesIHaveAHammer - waiting for you to buy it so I have an excuse to spend $40. I'll note I spent way more than $40 on my hot wax setup which is currently gathering dust because alas I realize I am too lazy to use it even waxing in batches. I have since realized that Shimano quick links are...

Thanks for sharing. Too bad this doesn't seem to work too well with the wax emulsion lubes as per the FAQs. Except for the Silca stuff.

Think I might be stuck in a plateau as well. At least a 4 month one. Just saw in the deals thread the sub compact brushless drill and impact are finally going on sale.... but then I thought I could justify it as ... I am down to 6 milwaukee impact tools after giving two away. A sub compact...

I have been holding out for a V2 of that to be honest. The form factor deterred me from giving up on my pneumatic impacting ratchet.
