Best Light Duty 1/2 Ton Truck?

First off the Taco is not a half ton...great truck but no half ton. I used to be a Ford guy, then I drove a Tundra. Now I own two. A work version and a nice version. Couldn't ask for more out of a half ton.

Craftsman has 1/4" drive impact sockets???

Yep, Ingersoll makes a 1/4" gun and it is actually really useful. Laughed at them...then used them and really liked them.

    How do you organize?

Get rid of RTV, brake clean, towel drawer. You paid for a tool box not a consumables storage box. Everyones needs are different. Best thing I can tell you is get rid of plastic boxes that stuff comes in to save space.

    Lets talk seal/bushing/race/bearing drivers

I have two HF kits. One is mostly smaller drivers and the other is larger. Don't have part numbers. Lots of vehicles will require a race to be driven in. 3/4 and one ton trucks and vans have rotors with the bearing inside of them not as a hub unit. Lots of rwd vehicles still require you to...

    Lawson Products

We use a lot of their stuff from bolts to penetrating oil to intake cleaner. Their drill bits seem to hold up ok under student use which is somewhat of a torture test.

    Open end ratcheting wrenches...

I bought a set of the Craftsman ones...thought they looked cool and useful for cooler lines. They sat and took up space until I threw them in my box of weld and cut wrenches. I used them a couple times and really didn't like them.

    R134a - NAPA = $16/12oz | Ollies = $6/12oz

Be careful with cheap R-134A. They have been having some trouble with the imported stuff being a combo of several refrigerants such as R-22 and R-23. The stuff they are putting in is actually reacting to aluminum and causing pretty bad corrosion internally. Just fyi

Who's using cordless as their primary impact wrench?

I use my Dewalt 3/8" as my go to for everything and if that won't take it off my Milwaukee Fuel 1/2" comes out. Air lines are a pain to drag around but if you need them you need them.
