    Giving back a box

You talked about my "buyers remorse" and "not wanting to pay for what I bought anymore". May be not a quote but a pretty serious accusation.

    Giving back a box

Oh up yours dude. Just read the last section of that. I am fully capable of paying for it and willing to if it meets my requirements for a tool box. I'm pretty new here but I'm going to tell you right off I uphold my end of the bargain and have plenty of personal responsibility. Pretty...

    Giving back a box

Hahaha if I had buyers remorse I would have done this before I filled it with tools and realized its shortcomings a couple months ago. I love the way the box looks. I got the silver bead I wanted and it looks amazing but I hate the drawer shimmy, loaded or unloaded and the noise and wobble. I...

    Giving back a box

Yeah I have been wavering on listing it today. I have had all weekend away from the shop to stew about it. It was a real downer to go from wooo new box to wtf is this. I am willing to pay whatever it takes to get good equipment and very willing to pay for it but I don't like paying for junk.

    Giving back a box

By take over payments I mean actual legal transference. I'm about the same level as you are as far as trusting people. Probably need to transfer that more to salesmen...

    Giving back a box

True and if someone decided they wanted it and to take over the payments I probably would unload it.

    Giving back a box

Monetarily I could grab a cheaper box like a Montezuma or Craftsman outright and still make the payments. Payments are not really an issue. I usually pay double on them anyway to get the paying over with. The problem is that I just hate to pay money for something I don't like. I see what you...

    Giving back a box

I'm pretty much done with Matco boxes...really not happy with it. Honestly pretty disenchanted with the whole tool truck game.

    Giving back a box

Well the situation was it was delivered to my old shop where it sat till I could get it to the new shop and actually load it with tools. It has only been in use for a week now.

    Giving back a box

That's what I was afraid of. Honestly if I can work it out to unload this thing I'm going to buy a Montezuma top and bottom or something similar and be done with it.

    Giving back a box

So I bought a 73" 5S Matco toolbox a few months ago and to be honest for the price I'm not impressed. I was promised that this was a well made heavy duty box for the professional technician but not so much. The drawers shimmy going out and in unloaded and loaded. It doesn't sit level and...

No discount off the truck. Wait for the website. Tools are a lot of opinion. Personally for someone just getting into it get the Craftsman...

Would tool box color sway you on a purchase?

Skinny drawers are great for guys like me that lay things like pliers and screwdrivers flat. Great price on the box as far as I'm concerned. I have never had a trouble as far as box color goes but I have always ordered whatever color I wanted.

Diagnostics & Scan Tools, What Best?

AutoEnginuity for the win. Having each manufacturer specific tool would be ideal but is cost prohibitive. AutoEnginuity gives you as close to manufacturer specific as possible at a fraction of the cost. I like the laptop based option and you can buy as few or as many manufacturers as you...

Thank you both. No we didn't get it too bad with the weather. Little bit of ice but nothing we couldn't take.

Sunex impact extension failures: 3/8 drive, 15"

Had bad experiences with those hog rings wearing out...have a set of snap on 3/8" impact extensions that I can put a socket on and turn it any slight bit bellow parallel to the floor and the socket will just fall off. Just my experience.
