    Channellock 209 9-inch oil filter/PVC plier - $9.99 Amazon

Thanks OP. Just ordered a set of 209's, plus a Lisle 63250, and some Permatex Brake lube to barely bring my order over $25 for free shipping. According to the Amazon's "live" status on quantity, the 209's are going quick.

I was looking at Husky wrenches, but...

I hate these lobster claw wrenches myself. I just picked up a set of the GearWrench's that AAP has for 1/2 price, and the 8mm has the same type claw. The others are fine, the 8mm just makes me cringe.

    Snap On F80's

Can anybody tell me why they're so many of these floating around? It seems like every craigslist ad that I run across, has a new or used F80 for sale. Most of the time you can pick a new one up for a 1/4 of the retail price. Now with that being said, I did pick a F80 and a TF72 up for $50 a...

    GearWrench 3680 Serpentine Belt Tool

I think it has been discontinued. I searched for the kobalt version before ordering the GearWrench, but couldn't find anything. Getting a Kobalt warrantied might be a problem if you find one, not sure.

    GearWrench 3680 Serpentine Belt Tool

Sorry guys, the $40 was refering to what it seemed like you could get the set for all the time. I can't really fuss because it showed the estimated delivery time, but I swear Amazon is sitting on my order because I used free shipping. Never had this issue before.

    GearWrench 3680 Serpentine Belt Tool

That set would probably do whatever I run into, but it seems the gearwrench set will tackle a few more animals with the ratcheting mechanism and few extra pieces.

    GearWrench 3680 Serpentine Belt Tool

Not a "HOLY **** I GOTTA BUY 100 OF THESE" deal, but its the cheapest I can find. I've been searching for a couple of weeks, and even on ebay, guys are paying more for a used unit. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002WSFTO/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I picked me one up at the price. I wish I'd bought one...

    Brand New Rusty Tools?

Figured somebody might have asked, so I took a pic of that too. Yea it was in a package, and it did somewhat look like it had been opened, but its nothing more than a couple of plastic snaps that hold the package together.

    Teach me about taps

Before hitting the table or vise, opposite side of a bore, or maybe even before you run all the cutting edges through the part being tapped. Many possibilities, just some off the top of my head.

    Brand New Rusty Tools?

You guys seems like you would've done the same thing. I'm normally not the person that will nit pick everything, but I just thought that was bad. On another note, the GearWrench 3/8 wobble extension set and the OTC Compression Tester on the same order, came in perfect. In no way I'm trying to...

    Brand New Rusty Tools?

Just wondering how often this happens with orders purchased online. I ordered a pair of Gearwrench pliers from Advance and IMO they came in, in pretty bad shape for a new tool. I took them to a local Advance and they swapped them no questions, but I don't think I would've ever sent this to a...

    Teach me about taps

I think all the links above will provide you with enough info, but I will recommend a good tap fluid. We started using Tap Magic Xtra Heavy at work, and its cut tool wear in half. I've even used the stuff to drill and ream in a pinch. Also at work, 95% of the time we're working with 4140qt or...

Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

SK 2pc Long Reach Pliers. 2 hour round trip drive makes it not such a good deal for me. http://greenville.craigslist.org/tls/4056510407.html

    Kobalt 3/8 Flex head ratchet

Thanks for the heads up on this deal. I picked a set up today and was very pleased for the price. It took 2 stores for me. After about 30 minutes of walking around with an employee in store #1, we came to conclusions that a whole case is misplaced somewhere. According to their handheld gadget...
