    Mold / Mildew on boat seats

    I am trying to clean the black mold / mildew spots off the seats on my boat so I can store it for the winter. I have tired a host of cleaners and the seats are really clean, except the small black spots of mildew. What do you guys use?

    Deflection....

    If you move your lower mount off the post and onto the concrete block, it will reduce the load on the base of the post. Make a new brakcet that mounts to the concrete blocks for the bottom hinge and leave your top hinge on the post where you have it.

    I use black diamond, from northern tool, tractor supply, etc. They carry a fine grit and a more coarse. I use the fine grit in both my blasters, 7.99 a bag.

    The container should become a faraday cage, and you should be ok inside the container. The eletricity will "flow" around the outside. Do some more investigation in faraday cages to confirm.

    I spoke with ATI - black diamond on the phone and they indicated I should be using a 1/4" nozzle (seems really big to me). He indicated that the bags from TSC and Northern Tool are a mix of the little fury (fine 30-60) and shock rock (extra fine 40-80). I will buy a nozzle tonight on the way...

    I read a thread on this site about how great the black magic abrasive media is compared to sand. I purchased 2 bags from TSC and tired it out last night. It only works for about 5 seconds before it plugs the nozzle ( I put the biggest nozzle I have in 9/64), what size nozzle do I need to use?
