    Powdercoating a vise?

I would. In fact now that my new shop has sooo much more room, my powder coating oven will be accessible again. So I think I'll be PCing my vise too. Although now I need a grit blast cabinet again. I've had 3 over the years. May go use a buddies grit blast cabinet for the time being. We...

Moving my home shop into an industrial building space

Thanks. My 73' K5 is a 4x4 project. Here's a few of the cage work and aluminum dash I've built. The flat plate in the back is where the tilting and forward/backward adjustable Mastercraft racing bench seat goes. Has about 6" front to back adjustment and will tild forward 90 deg out of the way...

Moving my home shop into an industrial building space

Thank you. The mill is a toolroom mill. About 5500lbs. Not a big mill. I'm about to just rent a forklift have it delivered, move the mill on a rented trailer that will handle the weight. Drive the forklift to the shop since it is super close then unload it, drive the lift back to my house then...

Moving my home shop into an industrial building space

Quoted $1950 to move the cnc mill. Steep for only an actual 3 minute drive. Mill is an easy access forklift pickup and unload. I may rent a forklift and truck and move it myself for that cost. I stopped by a rental place and for an 8K forklift with 8" forks it's $250 per day and $95 for both...

Moving my home shop into an industrial building space

I'm having a nightmare and a dream come true happen at the same time. I am losing my home to cancer. I'm forced to sell my home. It's now up for sale. I'd rather sell then take the credit hit. Re-fi won't work and CA save your home program won't work for me either. No big. I can get another...

Checking intrest in Stronghand type welding table plates. Post up if intrested please

With such little intrest whats the point. Posted this on several fab sites and almost ZERO intrest. Now I know not to waste my time with them, I'll just make myself a set of weld plates and call it good. Only 414 views in this thread and hardly a couple few replies.

If I was to say "Best" I say Guhring drills period. Never used a better drill. Been a job shop machinist for many many years and have used just about any and every kind of drills there is. I personally purchase Guhring Cobalt split point drills for my machine shop and Precision Twist Cobalt...
