    Mac no rattle adjustable wrenches

    Looking at the proxene site the Gray adjustable jaws look like the HP model, but i cannot see the rest of the wrench handle. The proxene site wants a login. I am more then happy with my Gray adjustables. Have 8", 10" and 12". The 8" stays home, the other two in the service/road box.

    Also New Holland rebrands Grip-On at fraction of price, if you are doing serious work get any of the rebranded Grip-On. If you are casual DIY, just get Vice Grip. There are plenty of NOS Vice Grip out there, go get em!

    I also have half a dozen zipper pouches that keep stuff together. I am always on the road and do not have the lux. of a roll cab, but my tools need to come with me, so leaving them in a tool box in the truck does not work. I have several hand boxes that carry all my tools, i need to be mobile.

    Klein vs Channellock

    I have and use both! Klien 2000 series, tops. Linemans, dykes and needle nose klien first. I use channelock as well, dykes and needlenose not as good as klien IMO. Klien are heftier and pricy. Have not tried knipex. Buy each plier in both brands, you decide!

    Williams Ratcheting Screwdriver?

    I have the CASE IH branded williams. Honestly, IMHO the non-knurled shaft is a non issue. 30-35$ williams vs 70$ for SO, Williams hands down. Good ratcheting mech. and the exact same bits. When torque involved get a standard driver.

    Oetiker (Ear) Clamp Pliers

    Memories! Back in the eighties I worked at the Oetiker plant in Alliston Ontario. I used to punch and assemble the pliers used to pinch the ears. I use the clamps today and my pliers are the the knipex. At one time Oetiker made the pliers themselves. What a great summer job that was!
