Fiinally showing it off! My Garagemahal

It is basically the same thing as a power strip, only it has a switch for each plug, rather than all 9 being either "on" or "off" together. I am absolutely in love with this thing. A place I used to work (Lighting manufacturer) had this a display so they could turn on and off individual lights...

Fiinally showing it off! My Garagemahal

I have been lurking for a while and looking for advice. I now feel like I can show it all off. Thanks to all the ideas and advice I found on this forum!! I always knew that I was going to epoxy the floors, so I wasn’t very kind to the existing concrete: I stashed all of my tools and items...

    Curing Portland Cement

HELP! I put in a slope to my garage (about 2 inches high, 11 inches long). Given that it is 105 degrees here in Dallas, I let it set for about an hour, sprinkled it with water and then covered it with plastic so it wouldn't evaporate too fast. How long should I keep the plastic over the...

    plug for hardwire?

I looked inside my plug-in shop light and it seems pretty straight forward white/black/green through the plug line. Can I take a light designed to be hardwired and wire it for plug use? If I get a grounded plug wire and wire it white/white, black/black and green/ground...is it safe?

    How about these?

My biggest concern with Racedeck is that it raises the floor another 1/2 inch. My Garage already has a 2.5" lip that my cars already "jump" to get into the garage. I am going to add a tapered concrete ramp, but I don't want to have to make another jump onto the racedeck. I have also heard...

    How about these?

I don't want to do the epoxy, and I don't like the thickness of the racedeck and similar tiles....I came across this yesterday and it seems like what I want, but I don't know about the durability or the tile, or adhesive...
