    PT Deck Sealer

Flood is good stuff, lasts longer than thompsons IMO. They make a "natural" which is pretty clear, slight yellowing. I used it on a cedar project that was in direct sun and it started to get a tiny bit of sun fading after 5 years, re applied and it was like new.

    Toughest rattle can paint?

Most rattle cans are so thinned down that I find pre warming the part flashes the solvent off a bit quicker and cures a little harder you should still wait the full 48. The gloss is a little duller though. Keeping the part warm is key - gives the paint the energy to do the cross linking.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

90% of a weld cart for my large welder (ESAB 350MPI power source with a duradrive 4-30 wire feed) Need to affix the angled bottom plate once the paint dries. The large power source goes on the angled plate, the duradrive mounts to the pole on the top plate as a swivel (there's actually a...

    Echo CS-590 or similar chainsaw.

My medium sized saw is a Stihl Farmboss (MS271) - its slighter smaller in CC's than the Echo you listed but I've run it all day with a 20" bar cutting up a couple hickory and cherry trees without complaint. I picked it up for about $400 with a 6 pack of oil. I'm going to experiment with a...

    Let's see your toolbox.

I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the model/date info on this old snap on. It was my wifes grandfathers. Based on the Craftsman (BE) socket/ratchets/breaker bars my most likely guess would be purchased in the late 20's early 30's which matches up with the time frame of the land...

    All purpose torch recommendation

MAPP IMO gets way too hot for standard house plumbing work. Maybe it was my lack of practice but I shot solder out the back of the fitting and had a couple leaks with MAPP. switched to propane and the rest of the house went together like butter. I have that MAPP torch still, but generally...
