    You're using too fine a grit. You need a much coarser grit to start; 220 or even lower.

    I use a Torque Multiplier 1/2" input, 3/4" out, with a 1/2" adapter for stuff that doesn't want to turn. I find it a lot easier on the old bod. I bought it for less than the cost of the breaker on eBay a few years ago.

    I do have some experience with bad electrical connections(aluminum wiring, back-stabbed fixtures) and I don't see any signs of over heating/arcing in any wiring, equipment I inspected.     What I don't understand is why did replacing the breaker stop the problem for over two weeks, and then it starts up again? This is a daily problem, sometimes multiple times a day.

    Bad Breaker?

    Just had a similar problem, lights flickering/losing power then coming back on without the breaker tripping. Replaced the breaker and the problem went away. Been two weeks since, no issue.

    What’s your favorite measuring tape and why?

    Haven't found one yet that I would consider a "daily carry" currently using a couple of 25' Milwaukee tapes that were on sale at HD. I don't think they extend enough before they flex.
