    Atomic Rivian Air Hose Reel

My only other question would be: Could there be an auto-wind version? So no use of a hand crank to reel it in.

    Atomic Rivian Air Hose Reel

Looks bolted down... Isn't it in the way now? Might run into fitment issues when using the bed for cargo. Maybe there is a way to "stealth" or recess it. Sink it into the side and have it swivel out maybe... Also it looks like it has a hand crank for wind up. Be cool if it had a spring like the...

    Breaker box issues

I was just going to keep the metal box for the metal itself. Always wanted to see if I could turn one into a decoy cabinet for storage. Like how you have a fake book on a bookshelf that has a hidden compartment. One of the old breakers could be the latch that opens the front panel, revealing the...

    Breaker box issues

Ah the joys of home ownership. Time for me to cough up 3 grand for a new "panel". But just out of curiosity, I thought I would stop by and ask what the safety risk is. Apparently the bolt in the right lug wasn't tightened all the way down. This made it get hot, and melt into the plastic panel...

How accurate can this torque wrench shortcut be?

Do you have a recommendation on a certification? I have to ask because there's fake certifications floating around out there, where it's just a made up name, hoping people will believe it. Not super common granted, but when you're buying off amazon it's best to be familiar.

How accurate can this torque wrench shortcut be?

There are times when they don't mention anything, so you assume they mean just put it in dry. But sometimes you need a little extra insurance, so you want to use some loctite. Aside from that, ARP claims their grease gives you a more accurate reading, so you'll get closer to what the...

How accurate can this torque wrench shortcut be?

How accurate can this thing be compared to a real torque wrench? Also you'll often want to use Loctite instead of that ARP grease that improves the accuracy of the reading. Is it asking for trouble later on? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004VYUKTC/?tag=atomicindus08-20

How much should I pay for 380 sq feet of flooring?

I agree I will not use linoleum. A lot has changed since the last time I looked at flooring. I'll have to go look at those click together vinyl tiles at the floor store. Don't want to spend a lot on this. I'm thinking $2,500 maximum

How much should I pay for 380 sq feet of flooring?

Hard to make linoleum look nice, but this place found a way: https://www.forbo.com/flooring/en-us/products/marmoleum/designing-with-marmoleum/bvgx9q#teaser Yeah it looks to me like the sheet vinyl lasts about 10 years and then it's all gnarly looking and needs to be replaced.

Should I just use regular attic insulation instead of spray foam?

So first you need to seal everything up in the attic. Before you blow the insulation in. Just blowing in insulation won't fix the problem. Does that sound about right? Or would the benefits just be cut way down? I really hoped to find an all in one company that could handle the whole...

How much should I pay for 380 sq feet of flooring?

Not a DIY project, I was just going to pay someone to go in there and do the job. Since I'm buying it for someone else, I'd like the price to be on the lower end. No need to be trendy and luxurious here. I went looking at lowes and home depot, and I'm starting to think those big sheets are out...

How much should I pay for 380 sq feet of flooring?

I don't know much about flooring so I thought I would stop by and ask. I want to have a kitchen done, and I'm considering having linoleum installed. Although I'm not sure if that's a good flooring. I'm having it done for a relative, so I'd like it to hold up reasonably well. It's just a...

Should I just use regular attic insulation instead of spray foam?

The outdoor unit is outside, not in the attic. Although at times I kind of wish it was up there because maybe it would be less noisy. As for removing the existing insulation, I will have to rely on the professionals that end up doing the work. I have too much to do and I have to hire someone.

Should I just use regular attic insulation instead of spray foam?

Yeah it looks like there's portion of it up in the attic. While the bottom half is below, in the house so I can easily get to the filter. Not sure exactly, I don't know much about Hvac. But there's some portion of it in the attic. To me it looks like a junction box for all the tubing/duct work.

Should I just use regular attic insulation instead of spray foam?

Sounds like blown-in is the cheapest. But you don't get the same sealing properties as the foam. Maybe a good company could just spray foam the known problem areas, then use blown in for everything else. I'd like to get the attic cooled down for $2,500 or less.

Any idea about the cost? House is roughly 2,500 square feet

Should I just use regular attic insulation instead of spray foam?

I like the idea of insulation and fans. I don't have the high triangular points on my roof. So any fans would have to be added to the bottom of the roof, near the vents. I guess they could cut a lot more holes for those turbines. Anyone know the effectiveness of the roof spinners? What if I...

Should I just use regular attic insulation instead of spray foam?

Hi all, I need to upgrade the insulation in my attic. Or so it seems. The insulation that's there seems pretty sparse. The house was built in the early 1980's, and it appears to have that loose insulation that you'd just throw down. Not exactly sure how they applied it. But it isn't the roll...

How much to pay for duct cleaning?

Yeah that's why I never could do the indoor dog thing. It always makes your house... well just kinda nasty, no matter how hard you try. And you always get hit with the smell when you visit someone's house who has an indoor dog. But you gotta act like you don't smell anything. Getting ready to...

How much to pay for duct cleaning?

There is no humidifier, and they are exposed to what appears to be an insulated attic. Well it was probably "insulated" at one time, but the house was built in 1983. I'm probably going to have the foam sprayed down on the attic floor to help with Texas summer temps. The two vents with the mold...
