Yeah I wouldn't use a cutting wheels on it, just normal die grinder discs for light-duty work. In case anyone's still wondering, yes this scenario is due to the lack of air for said die grinder. Also I just found that ACDelco makes electric/cordless die grinders, although they're a bit pricey...
