Getting ignored from the tool truck guys

Maybe the dealer thinks you're such a great worker that there is no possible way he can assist you to go even further

    Husky Cordless Ratchet

I bought it. The YouTube videos were favorable, but it's always good to check here too. I haven't used it yet but I will be soon

    Husky Cordless Ratchet

I'm strongly considered the Husky Cordless Ratchet at Home Depot for $59. It has a charger and blowmold case with an internal battery. It will be used working on vehicles, in a home and part time professional manner. I'm not interested in getting Milwaukee, SnapOn, etc. Those who have used the...

Who makes a decent Utility (Moving) Blanket? (Not HFT)

Harbor Freight ones are all I've used and I don't take care of them, yet they've been great. I have used a few cheap $2 throw blankets with good success too

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

That's an asinine thing to say. --------------- Their deadblow hammers are one of the best deals in the store

Curved Jaw vs. Straight Jaw Locking Pliers? (Automotive)

*Parrot shaped jaws, since they're not made with an actual parrot's mouth.. Bremen and Tekton made very good pliers. I have various sizes from each and see no reason to not recommend them. I do like the 4" Irwin curved and needle nose versions. They come in handy more than you'd think

    Show off your Red Kap

I'm ordering some Red Kap clothes for working In. I know they make work uniforms for several industries. I have their Carhartt style coat and like it a lot. Anyone have much Red Kap?

Home Depot upped its tool game a lot

I had a husky ratchet that broke and spun freely after very little light use. They gave me a new one

Good Heavens that is a haul. That's probably more $$ than all of my tools and vehicles put together. Since there are lots of vehicle tools there, I assume you're a mechanic?

    Cheap Pen Light

I saw these Hyper Tough pen lights at my local Walmart for $1.44 in the automotive department. I'll be getting several more. Obviously, they're not the super fancy titanium, 12 mode flashlights people like taking pictures of to show their every day carry nonsense. However, they're definitely...

    EDC Utility Blade… Again…

Same here, I'd be sad to lose a Buck 110, Mora, Douk Douk, etc. I don't want or need an expensive knife, in spite of the one in the article looking pretty cool

Do you think Knipex Cobra style pliers have completely replaced Channellock tongue-and-grove style pliers?

Nope. For one, knipex are a lot more expensive. Not just a couple dollars, but 3-4 times more in some cases. The button seems like it has a chance of dying some day. Channel lock has some pliers with flat jaws. Both are great, but Channel lock is so much cheaper and still great quality

    Your extractor collection

I don't have many extractor tools, but I have a pair of Vampliers and the Harbor Freight extractor sockets. I've rarely used them, so that's probably a good thing. Show off your collections if you please, I want to spend money on stuff I didn't know I needed

    Locking Wrench

They claim it takes the place of x number of wrenches. In reality, it clamps in a bolt and locks (like regular vise grips) onto it. It can be used for stripped or rounded stuff from the looks of it, which is why I wanted one. Also for keeping in the old truck for simple tightenings

    Locking Wrench

I ordered the 4 inch pair of these, item #4LW. Anyone used these?

Quinn 428 piece mechanic's tool set spied at HF today

I don't buy that. It looks as good as any other compilation took set, just more complete. If I needed a good place to start, this would be ideal

What is your opinion on HF tool "branding" ?

Ah, okay. Yes, that is horribly annoying and ignorant.

If you only had money to buy one set of combo wrenches...

You aren't getting many helpful responses. Stick with regular length, and they don have to be Snap On. Unless you go to the bargain bin at big lots, it'll be hard to find a genuinely bad set of wrenches. Harbor Freight, Lowe's, home Depot, and Walmart have options that are affordable and...
