What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Built a dolly for my ballast barrel, then took it off the tractor. Took the forks off the tractor, put the bucket on. Put the post hole digger on the 3-point, greased everything up. Cleaned for a bit, got a bunch of stuff to go in the dumpster tomorrow and a few tools to give away at work...

New set of Allen Keys needed

I use Eklind long T-handles and Bondhus for the shorter L-style. If I ever need another set I'm tempted to buy the color-coded Wera set.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Built a rolling base for my tractor cab, open on one side so I can push the snowblower underneath it to save room for summer storage.

220 volt 50 amp welder ext cord price ?

They make 6-50 plugs with a handgrab on it, but I'm sure they cost a fair bit more than a regular plug. I've been welding for 15 years now and have never once been shocked when unplugging the cord.

220 volt 50 amp welder ext cord price ?

Both of mine are homemade, 10/3 SO or SJ cord with 6-50 ends. On one I got the wire for free so that was a no-brainer. You can buy them if you like the molded plugs for some reason, but I'm not welding in the rain.

    Lawn Mowers Service Manuals?

Every piece of equipment I have I've googled "[equipment name] service manual pdf download". Worked for everything including our vehicles, except my tractor which I had to buy the service manual.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Serviced the snowblower to put it away. Noticed the friction disc in rough shape, even though there hasn't been any signs of slippage. Got the part number to order another one tonight.

    Drywall anchor repair

We have to replace tons of plastic drywall anchors at work when people rip toilet paper or paper towel dispensers off the walls - both the tap-in kind and the screw-in type. We always replace them with toggle bolts.

    Show your new tool arrivals

M18 Quik-Lok articulating hedge trimmer attachment. Had to follow my own rule of "if you need to borrow it more than twice and it doesn't take up a lot of space, then buy it." Got it reconditioned from Acme Tools plus an additional 15% off the recon price.

    Outswing vs inswing

The west side will take a lot of weather abuse. My garage entry door is on the west side. It's an inswing, and I have a cheap storm door over it to protect the entry door, and to let some air through in the hot and humid weather.

How do you store your electric extension cords?

With all the battery tools I own now, I think I only have three extension cords. One 25' cord crammed in the storage under the rear seat in the truck, and a 25' and 50' rolled up with a velcro hanger and hanging on the garage wall just inside the door.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Started adding some 3D-printed feet on my M18 vacuum so I can mount it to my Packout setup. Front two feet worked perfect but the rear two need some thin shims added so they can lock in more easily. Might have to cut some plastic shims from a coffee can lid or something similar.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Even though winter is over and I'll be taking the cab off shortly, I added an LED light to my tractor's soft cab. I bought a 4-pack of these LED lights a few years ago and only ended up putting one of them in the cap of my truck, so I had the other three laying around.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Funny, just noticed a few drops under mine today, as well. Maybe the change in seasons. I've never seen a drop once before. I check my gearbox fluid and change it as needed. I'll just keep an eye on it if it drips anymore once it's in its summer parking spot.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I almost did, but I'm waiting one more week to change the snowblower oil and put it away for the year. If we get a freak late snowstorm in April, I'll just push it with the tractor bucket since it'll be wet and heavy anyway.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I appreciate the "label maker" label, made by the label maker, on the case for the label maker.

    Motor Oil Deals & Rebates

I've seen the same Rotella rebate come up every spring around Feb-May for the last 3 years, since I bought my tractor. So every spring I check and as long as it's there I stock up for my fall oil changes.

    Home Depot deals/sales/clearance

I bought one on Tuesday at that price, and when I was checking for my tracking info on Thursday it was down to $98. So I went on the live chat on their website and they refunded me the $11 difference to my credit card.

Metal cutting OMT Blades that will hold up

Is the oscillating tool the only option in your scenario? I pretty much use mine for metal only when it's the very last option, when no other tool will fit. I always go to a reciprocating saw, grinder, or Dremel when possible. I just cut out some joist blocking in a ceiling and the old, hard...

Go get a boroscope camera if you don't already have one

Mine actually connects to your phone via WiFi, which is one of the only minor downsides. Not sure why they didn't utilize bluetooth instead. The end of the camera cords has a small "box" the size of a prescription pill bottle that holds the battery, Wifi transmitter, etc.
