Oliver 232D Table saw vs Sawstop

I’m in the market for a new table saw. Been looking at getting a sawstop but a friend of a friend offered to sell me an Oliver 232d. Seems in decent enough shape but it would require me also purchasing a phase converter. Seems like a well built piece of old iron, but how precise are these old...

    POS Lowes Air Hose reel

I bought an air hose reel from lowes just over a year ago for $100. Seemed decent enough and worked great at first. However now the damn thing wont fully recoil the hose. Is the spring in these that weak, or is the cheap *** hose that comes with them just get too stiff? Got any suggestions to...

Apparently WERA lifetime warranty is worthless.

So apparently WERA considerers there "premium" L keys consumables. I bought a set of there stainless Hex plus keys a little bit ago, and the head of the 1.5mm key twisted right off when removing a camera screw... far from a high-torque application. Figuring this is obviously a warranty repair...

Drill bits. Tired of the one set does it all ****.

Over the years I have always thought of drill bits as consumables and usually bought the mid-grade sets at Lowes of Home depot. I'd use them for wood, aluminum, steel. Basically as a one set does it all, but lets be honest they don't really do anything great, just adequate. Lately I've been...
