    Hour At a Time Garage

I didn't take a picture but the front cabinet handles actually came out like new money with some vinegar and a wire brush, I suppose cause they were originally chrome.

I don't have a sandblaster but this worked though. Apple cider vinegar and a little light wire brushing and they look pretty damn good. thanks!

    Craftsman Boxes at Lowes

I know guys, we all know and have known. My point wasn't to let everyone know that they are selling Craftsman boxes at Lowes, it was more to ask what everyone thought of the price and value of said boxes. As much as we talk about toolboxes here, it seemed after diligently searching the forum...

Was at Lowes for the first time in a long while, I am more an HD guy. I walk in and right in the front they have these 52" top and bottom craftsman boxes, red, easy close drawers, etc. The set was priced at like $798 if I am not mistaken. That seems like a really great deal, or am I wrong? I...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Unloaded the little grill, canopy, chairs, fishing poles, and other stuff back into the garage from our vacation last week. Emptied the cooler and stocked the fridge with some good beer, not much else.

    Thanks Snap-On (drawer removal tool)

pull the drawers out a few inches so you can get the tools in but the extensions are still inside the cabinet. hold the tools in place there, close to the cabinet face as you pull the drawer out, the rails will start to slide out, at that point just pull the drawer straight out. maybe that...

    How to make photos larger?

The one advantage to big pictures is they are easier to interact with on my phone, I do not use tapatalk so I don't need to click to enlarge, then find the tiny X, etc.

    How to make photos larger?

I can go either way really, there are mods for this platform to prevent people from quoting pictures but I think the team here is planning to move to a new platform soon so that isn't really a need.

    Site evaluation/as-built dimension tools

We work to the 1/8" mainly in engineering, 1/16" sometimes on plant sites. We use tape measures, levels, pogo sticks, ladders, etc. When working in the field I did as-built's for piping systems so it was pretty straight forward. Get some good large prints of how it is SUPPOSED to be built and...

What's the deal with socket adapters?

I usually break them cause I am a big dummy and will put a 1/2 x 3/8 on a breaker bar with a big stupid socket to break something loose knowing it's gonna break the adapter but I like the pain.
