minimum I would plumb up to 1 or 2 hose reels. one at each end. even with outlets you still need a hose. I love being able to give a little pull and have the hose wind itself up. I picked up the 75 ft reel from Tractor supply and it has been great to pull all the way outside for the tractor etc...

Mesh should be fine for a garage floor. unless you're planning to drive heavy equipment over it often. (backhoes, bulldozer ect). I used 6x6 W2.9/W2.9 in my slab and placed a small mat of #4 bar where the slab overpours the foundation wall at the entrance to avoid cracking there. I also...
