For clarity. Clearly the alternative would be that I excavate an area for some steps in the yard to drop the door down a couple feet. This creates a cavity for kids to fall into and will be a pain in winter to keep clear of snow and ice.

I'll bump this. I like my Koken 1/2" drive sockets but they don't make 3/8" application. The thin wall, protective sleeve, and extension to keep your knuckles off the wheel are really nice.

Bumping this post - these things are listed at $310 now (?!?). The Tektons look like a way better deal but you lose the ability to deal with 12 point fasteners and they are not offset at all. Any other good options at this point?
