    c91x 36x40 shop build

Appreciate it. I was happy with the 36x48 that I was coming from and was worried that i would not be satisfied with a 36x40 but that has not been the case. I did spend some time to make sure that I was being efficient with my wall space. Funny thing about that explorer is that my username...

Another thing that went along with the A/C install was the need for a spot to put the controls. I was missing many of the stock instrument so I had free range to do whatever i wanted. I ended up making this with new gauges for Marshall. Started with a just a template from foam board...

    Cheap paint booth heat.

You might try some cheap infrared paint curing heaters. One of my old neighbors used some off amazon as just a regular infrared heater above his work area and they worked well.

I drove the fairlane around for a few months until summer hit. I thought i was cool driving it around but the swamp *** i was getting disagreed so that led to install an a/c kit from vintage air. This one thing is what started the snowball. I didn't have a spot for the vents so that lead to...

I should be caught up to present progress soon. Thanks for following along. Appreciate it You're absolutely right, I just didn't proof read my post. I ended up driving 3 hours to pick it up and the motor was locked up. I looked a long time for a 74 as I really liked the all gray mini...

    c91x 36x40 shop build

I'm enjoying looking up these old pics and taking a trip down memory lane. Next big project was my Fairlane. It was a 302/c4 manual drum brakes, no power steering, no interior besides seats, and barely ran but I got a good deal on it. My plan when i purchased it was to throw some carpet and...

    ZMotorsports Shop Projects 2.0

Mike, like the others i'm with you. I wish I wasn't that way but it seems I always hear something when no one else does and it will drive me crazy. I get an odd amount of satisfaction when I find it, even if I can't fix it at the time, just knowing what it is, is such a relief. Same goes for...

Re: c91x House and Shop Build I wanted to take a break from the shop pics and give a little background and show a couple pics of whats going to live in it and some of my past projects. My first vehicle was a 1951 Willys CJ3A. I did the best i could on it and actually drove it for 5-6 months...

    Some of Bodj Built's builds

Those KDX's are tractors and still an amazing technical single track weapon. The original pipe was double walled and really quite. I'm part of that KTM 300XC club but I still hit up the track on occasion so I needed a do all machine. I use a Garmin 64 on a ram mount but with cellphone the way...

Re: c91x House and Shop Build I needed to start on the benches and welding table on the other side of the shop. I think this bench ended up being 12' and I left a nook to the right for a welding cart and left room on the left for my lathe. I kept the bottom open so that my horizontal bandsaw...

    Show us your welding projects

That was actually quite an argument between him and his little sister. I ended up splitting the difference so that he was eye level with the top and her with the bottom. Yeah it was a hit. After we got fish in it, he stated that it was like a dream come true.

1hp would probably still be fine but I don't have any plans to make it down to the valley anytime soon, appreciate it though. I might just go the VFD route but worried about another chinese product and I don't think i want to spend the type of money you did on a quality one until i know this...

    The Machine Work Thread

Maybe I should have started a thread in the electric section but figured i'd try here first. I'm trying to wire up my 2j 1.5hp bridgeport. I won this at an auction and never heard it run. I replaced the bushings, belts, and all the bearings in the top half. I'm using this...
