    2020 Home Depot Clearance Thread

Not all stores have a LPO. Even if they do home depot policy forbids employees other than LPOs from pursuing a thief, accusing someone of stealing, etc. Only under the direction of one can the thief be pursued/apprehended. Their training was to basically keep asking the person if they need help...

    Zoro Deals Thread

I've had a freezer and 8' sticks of metal and they deliver it right to the house. Don't know on 20s since that won't fit on a ups truck

Timing Light with 2 smoke tach

Pretty sure the PO of my boat mucked with the timing screw thinking it was the idle adjust. Ideally want one with a tach that can do 2 stroke to make it easier. Like to be somewhere around $50ish shipped (30701) but for one of the really nice ones I can go up. Shoot me a PM if you've got one...

Hilti 12V Driver Kit $129 on their website

Heads up if anyone else ordered the multi head. Hadn't heard about mine so I went by the store it was sent to. Guy told me they are massively backordered, he said 800 units he last saw, but they are working on getting them as quick as possible. Sounds like its a new product and they put it on...

Hilti 12V Driver Kit $129 on their website

They also have this one for $209 https://www.hilti.com/c/CLS_CORDLESS_TOOLS_7123/CLS_CORDLESS_DRILL_SCREW_7123/CLS_CORDLESS_DRILL_7123/r11102216?combo_content=5b328262a6845ade25ed511d491cdf89&itemCode=3649603 I know most of these types of setups are a joke, but hilti seems like they could pull...

    The Everything 3D Printer Thread

Made some brackets to organize arrows in a dead space. Could also be used for tig rod or anything else long. Turns out printing 2 of them at a time is just above the max volume a Mars can hold for resin, and i let it run all night. Ran out but enough is there to hold it together...

    The Everything 3D Printer Thread

What resin are you using? With Elegoo grey I only see fragility with thin parts and with Siraya Fast it took quite a bit to break one of the prints. I don't hollow out anything I'm printing for a technical use. Not worth the small amount of resin savings Thanks, hadn't found that one.

Not that I have found. I'll usually do a search on yeggi and sometime get lucky that someone else had the same thought. If not its right to fusion. my fusion skills have been improving rapidly with this printer around. I'm hoping as they get more popular resin prices come down. With the basic...

    The Everything 3D Printer Thread

I only notice the smell when I take the lid off and its not that bad. Some resins are stronger than others, but none are that bad to me. Honestly the alcohol for post processing annoys my nose more. The community behind these printers has a lot of whiny people in it. Seems you can't go a day...

Very tempted by the torque screwdrivers for scope mounting and other firearms work. Don't need to spend the money though

Any of you guys messing with sla printers? Picked up an elegoo mars on a whim and have been blown away with the quaility it can produce. Layers are barely visible and it can print very good quality things like threads. This is a part I made with m26x1.0 threads. They initially came out a little...

$210 Femi Clone Band Saw- General Int pivot head

How do these compare to the common 4x6 import saws? I have one of those but its not going to work well in my new cramped shop setup. A pivoting head would make my setup much easier and I can give my dad the 4x6.

    Siding choices?

I just bought 8" fiber cement (hardie knockoff) to redo the back of my house. It worked out to around $1.05/sqft buying a moderate quantity (500 sqft). Figure with nails its going to roll in around $1.10. That not counting beer and pizza for helpers. I've had houses with vinyl and hardie. The...

    Feeder type confirmation

It's more that harming this tree to the point it needed to be taken down would likely require a crane reaching over my house and a very large bill. Also it would remove the very nice shade on my patio The worst conduit is going to be where it turns to enter the building, but that would be...

    Feeder type confirmation

About 30ft total - 2 straight runs with an external 90 that will probably have a pull elbow. Then a 90 sweep into the building. It won't be fun, but I pull large coax for radio systems on conduit enough to know a few trick (con as many helpers as possible). Honestly I'm not looking forward to...

    Cat6 in conduit with 120v

Agree. Mmf fiber for under 600m, smf for more. You can get a net gear or similar switch with an sfp cage and modules cheap on Amazon. You can price various fiber. Om3/4 will do 10g but I don't see that being an home gamer requirement for a long time, if ever. Though if you can get it for not...

    Feeder type confirmation

Powering a new to me shop, 100a service. Power will feed from outside main breaker panel on opposite end of house. I would prefer not to trench as there are a lot of older trees in a very small yard and don't want to harm the root systems. So my rough plan was to go under the house (crawlspace)...
