    I did this last winter, just about to apply the epoxy. I left it bare, and just let the snow cover it. (30x48 slab) it held up fine, I just ground it this week to put on epoxy (I just prefer grinding over acid, no other reason) and it was fine. I was worried like you last fall, dont over think it!

    thanks, I guess I will mix 2 kits (4 gal) in one bucket, and then mix 2 kits in a second, pot ife is ~ 2 hours .. wait time is 30 min if I remember properly

I emailed the company and asked for a price on 1.5" of foam on the ceiling, that would help with the R value, and also make sure the cieling is sealed as tight as the wallls.
