Recommend me a thermostat to control electric furnace and central heat pump.

Both the heatpump and the electric heat can/should work at the same time if the coil is in the air return prior to the electric strips.

Recommend me a thermostat to control electric furnace and central heat pump.

The heating performance chart at page 8 of the submittal data sheet shows a capacity of 18720 BTU at -22*F ODB with a return air temp of 70*F. This unit, btw, is a rebranded Gree. As for the thermostat, I work with the T6 Pro and Prestige IAQ from Honeywell and I've been pleased over the...

Recommend me a thermostat to control electric furnace and central heat pump.

A cased coil can very well have been installed downstream of the furnace. Actually, it's what we see the most around here, 19 times out of 20, if not more.

    Mini-split hole diameter for wall

We don't use a sleeve. I've seen a sleeve installed maybe once or twice out of hundreds of installs from different contractors and those 1 or 2 were on DIY jobs from customers.

    Mini-split hole diameter for wall

2 1/4" for 1/4 + 3/8 would work. But I'd use 2 5/8". We drill 2 1/2" or 2 5/8" (depending on what we have in the truck) for all size mini-splits we install.

Two Zone Mini Split for 750sqft Garage - Head Placements

You say "cassette" but your drawing seems to show regular wall units ? I would personnally not pay for a dual-zone system for that space. It is not all that big and one larger head would do the trick IMO, unless you have specific needs. I would mount it on the wall on the right, just about in...

    MrCool excess line set

I don't mean to be rude, but there's no way to make that look good... Just coil it, strap it and leave it...

    Recommissioning a mini-split?

    1) Open 2) Open 3) Open. Add whatever quantity you can with the system off and turn it on in cooling and add the remaining necessary charge.

Anyone successfully pulled refrigerant back into multiple outlet minisplit to repair leak?

You don't charge mini-splits by sh/sc. You weigh in the charge.

    Zoomlock/Press on minisplit heatpump

Mostly Gree. The most popular wall units are the Vireo and the Sapphire. For central : Gree Flexx

    Zoomlock/Press on minisplit heatpump

The "economical" factor of a mini-split VS others depends on utility costs and yes, results can be different from place to place. However, to say they are not efficient below 30*F as Mr onetwo put it is simply inaccurate.

    Zoomlock/Press on minisplit heatpump

Well, the hundreds of customers of mine who are happy with their improved comfort and reduced utility bills must be wrong then.

    Pool Heat Pump

I'm 99% sure you'll need a dedicated circuit. A pool pump draws quite a bit of current.

    Zoomlock/Press on minisplit heatpump

600+ psi is definitely not normal. The high-pressure cutoff point is often around 550psi and a system should not run that high. When properly installed the fittings are always accessible. You just gotta choose the right one. High efficiency heatpumps are very popular here in Quebec and we have...

    Heat Pump

I sell and install Gree (both mini-splits and split systems.) The one you're looking at is a solid performer and overall a great unit/system. Here's some issues we ran into (they've apparently been fixed by the factory since) : - Bad condenser fan motor : They had switched manufacturer for a...

Trane Heat Pump-Odd Sound when Shutting off

    Mini-split with ceiling cassette

With the new insulation and everything sealed up, I would not be worried with a 12k unless you have many windows.

    Mini-split with ceiling cassette

Only 400 sq ft ? Is it not/poorly insulated or does it have a whole lot of sun facing windows or something ? I'm aware that not all buildings and climates are made equal, but 18k seems like a whole lot of a/c for that space considering you are in SW Ohio where the design cooling temp is ~90*F.

    New HVAC Installation Costs?

I was thinking, was there ever a load calculation done ? 7+ ton of cooling ! The house is either huge or badly insulated or the systems are oversized !

    Mini split sizing Central Florida

A 36k unit sounds good. Probably oversized, but it's a garage, it'll be fine.
