Why would you use a uni-directional ratcheting wrench on a brake bleeder? You need to open and close the bleeder quickly, can't do that with a uni-directional ratcheting wrench.

If it's just an issue near the tool I usually just shorten the cord and inch and redo the connections, otherwise I have a pile of cord from power tools that I got from a job where we removed them to hard wire the motors to a machine.

Assuming it ran fine at the other guys house and that he wasn't running it on 220 and you didn't damage and/or change anything. I'd use an ammeter to see what it's pulling. It could be the capacitor, could be you have a weak breaker or could be the guy you bought it from had a 30 amp breaker...

One is the bush button release pin, the other looks like the one that uses the long pin that goes through the socket and extension. Long pin held in place by O-ring.

They still are obligated to cover the warranty as long as they are in business and you meet the obligations of the warranty (some warranties require the receipt, etc.), you should be able to buy similar replacement tools and they are obligated to pay for them although you might have to sue them...

Not sure what the original configuration is but on the bottom box if the skinny drawer is on the top I'd move it down and put a larger drawer at the top you'll get much better access to the back of the skinny drawer, not a problem on the top box other than getting the slides out. The locks will...
