I have this box (you'll see I changed the drawer configuration), they come out, they have a "detent" that clicks in, use a 90 angle screw driver to pry the slide away from the side, twist and push up and then pull forward, you'll have to start with the top one.

I'd consider electric, cheaper to install, cheaper to buy, no vent required, they are smaller than gas units and they heat a place up quickly.

Best T handle ever made were the Unbrako ones, no longer made and as far as I know never available in metric. USA made Allen, Bondhus, Snap-On, etc. are all good.
