    4kW heater (G70) vs 5kW heater (G73)

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is the G73 that everybody refers to the heater that is sold by Grainger at somewhat north of $400?

Need advice on running gas line

I need to run a gas line to my detached garage to feed a 60-75K BTU Mr. Heater-type overhead heater (not purchased yet). Does anyone know what size and type gas line I should use - the run will probably be around 120'. I plan on doing the grunt work myself and then have a heating guy do the...

    Two adults mess up epoxy-coat

Well, I have no idea what the success vs. failure rate is but I do know that if you have a problem with an epoxy floor application it becomes a nightmare. To each his own, but I'll be calling Christine in the spring to install my floor and then if there's a problem I'll just pick up the phone...

    Two adults mess up epoxy-coat

I'm afraid I'm starting to agree with you. I was going to try to get my floor done before winter but after reading a few of the horror stories over the past year I think I'll save a few more bucks and have the pros do my floor next spring. :(

    Saw cut control joints.

RUN is right ... I never heard of such a thing. Tell your builder to find a concrete guy who knows what he's doing!

    Craftsman at Costco ????????

Giving the Craftsman brand to KMart, Menards, Ace and Costco is just another nail in the Sears coffin. Sears was recently listed in Forbes magazine as one of the companies that could disappear in 2012. Very sad.

    Triumph Spitfire/GT6/TR6 Restoration Project

My first car was a '59 Triumph TR3. By my senior year in high school I had upgraded to a '66 TR4A. I still have the TR4A which is completely disassembled and, very slowly, going thru a ground-up restoration. I also have a 1976 TR6 which is "like new" with only 15,000 original miles. I've had...

    Kenmore Water Heater

My 12-year, 50-gallon Kenmore water heater just crapped out after 10-years and Sears gave me a brand new 12-year with no questions asked. Maybe that's one of the reasons that Forbes magazine listed Sears as one of the companies that could go belly-up in 2012.

    Muriatic Alternatives?

Try Acid Magic ... it's billed as a muriatic acid replacement and the stuff works great. If you go to the web site be sure to watch the "egg video" ... it's a riot! http://www.certol.com/AcidMagicHome.aspx

Need guidance with bad concrete pour

This is really a shame ... I feel for you. It's also a good lesson to everyone to do exhaustive research before picking a cement contractor including references and viewing previously completed work. I paid almost $12,000 for the foundation and cement work for my new 1000 sq, ft. garage and...
