Need adapter for using Bauer batteries on Bosch 18V tools!

Maybe an etsy seller makes one: 3dprintedadapters is the seller name. There is a battery adapter video on the Torque test channel on Youtube.

Need adapter for using Bauer batteries on Bosch 18V tools!

Anyone ever try stacking adapters? Bauer to Dewalt, Dewalt to Bosch maybe? I have no idea if this would work.

Anybody Else Going To Get One Of These?

I saw the red one at the Marshall, Texas store yesterday. Interesting, but I passed on it at $18.99 even with the 10% coupon promo. It’s pretty small.

Sometimes I feel like tools are addicting.

Here’s 35 of them ranging from 6” to 18”. I have a few more in my truck box, tractor box, etc. Most are USA made, none are Chinese. I think there are a couple from Japan and Korea. Most of these stacks are 2-4 deep.

Sometimes I feel like tools are addicting.

I started watching videos of tool restorations and then one day I saw a rusty crescent wrench for $1 at the flea market. I bought it, soaked it in Evaporust, etc, etc etc, and got my $1 worth of fun out of it. That was a few years ago. I now have a drawer with about 40 restored USA made...

    CPO Refurbished?

Never had a problem with anything I've purchased from them. Their shipping is usually pretty quick, too.

    Sawzall Pruning Blade?

I buy the Diablo at Home Depot and get good service from them. Occasionally I have found a bonus pack with an extra blade for a better price.

    Cordless inflators, Milwaukee or Ryobi?

I have the old model Ryobi and it has worked well for me. Mainly use it to top off tires but never had a problem with batteries. The only thing I don’t like about the one I have is that the trigger does not have a catch. It would be nice to latch the trigger and walk away.

Win 11 on old (unsupported) laptop

“Going to order another Samsung SSD and try to fix my other laptop.” Sounds like me. I checked out a closet at church and found two old PC’s that had been retired. A new SSD and fresh install of Windows and both are running fine and are back in use. I discovered something else on one of them...

Win 11 on old (unsupported) laptop

I have been using Ventoy on the USB stick. I have various iso files on one drive (Windows and Linux). Boot the USB and pick the one you want to install. Works great for me. I love playing around with this stuff. Just don’t ask and don’t tell my wife how many computers I have laying around. 🤫

Win 11 on old (unsupported) laptop

Excellent! Congratulations! Recently I have been playing around with this. I was at an estate sale recently and walked out with an HP All-in-One computer for $28. It’s from about 2012 or 2013 and it’s now running Win 11. Works like a champ. It’s a third gen AMD something-or-another cpu. I also...

How many battery platforms are you using for power tools?

I have about 10 Dewalt 20v and 20 Ryobi 18v tools. If I had to generalize, I’d say Dewalt for quality and Ryobi for variety. But I have some garden tools, some woodworking tools, and some mechanic tools in both platforms and both have served me well. I have had only one tool failure, a Ryobi...

Google Falk Corporation, Milwaukee. Some pics online of hammers with 2956F on one side and FALK on the other.

    Ryobi, Milwaukee or knockoff blower?

If the 40v Ryobi doesn’t come with battery and charger, then I don’t think it’s that great a deal. HD has a kit with all three pieces for $159. If you already had green batteries and chargers, then maybe. HD also has an 18v Milwaukee blower on sale for $129, bare tool, I think. I didn’t read...

    Cutting brush below soil

I know what you mean. Those things are powerful. So far, I still have all my fingers. Of the three, the pruners are the tool I use most. Any limb up to about an inch, it’s one pull of the trigger. For bigger stuff you just get the blades on the limb and pull the trigger multiple times. Usually...

Milwaukee vs Ryobi Sawzall and Multi Tool

Can’t speak to the multi-tool, but I have a couple of Ryobi reciprocating saws that we use around the place with pruning blades for trimming branches and small limbs. They work great. I have cut a couple of small trees that were really too big for the tool but they got it done. I am sure the...
