need help with old 1954 WILTON BULLET C1 vise (chicago era)

You have received the correct answer,,,the dynamic jaw is likely from an earlier vise. You should not post a new topic on someone elses thread.....it would be helpful if you started a new topic since others may benefit from it in the future and it would be hard to find in a different thread.

need help with old 1954 WILTON BULLET C1 vise (chicago era)

Problem with Desmond W7 woodworker's vise...driving me nuts....

This does appear to have that quick adjust feature, and I see that the threads are interrupted. SO once I lubed up the back end, if you have the non-threads point up (as if it were mounted) the back end will move, which is correct, if it were mounted. I don't really like the feature but maybe...

Problem with Desmond W7 woodworker's vise...driving me nuts....

I have a woodworker's Desmond W7 vise. It seems to have some design that prevents the handle from making a complete revolution and I can't seem to solve how it is supposed to function or what the feature is supposed to accomplish. See second pic of the blue vise....I circled the two "nubs"...

Thought you guys would like to see this one. I did a small garage cleanout and got this Delta grinder free-for-the-hauling. It works great and I have done nothing to it yet. The lights in the eye shields even come on! The base is unusual and seems as old as the grinder.
