My local hardware store didn't have black pipe so I bought galvanized pipe. Are thee any disadvantagesto galvanized pipe. I installed 32 feet of 1/2 inch galvanized pipe.

I purchased the heavy duty 1/2" Milton rated at 250psi.

Do you have to disconnect or remove the belts from the motor and pump? Will you be able to turn it over by hand?

There aren't many saylor bealls around. Lots of ingersoll rands around. He should have it wired up on Monday. I'll be able to see how long it takes to come up to pressure.
